This is a variation of another forum game I saw once on Game FA Qs.

To play this game you go to Wikipedia and hit "Random Article" until you have all the results you need. The rules are as follows:

1. The first four (or however many you want) names of people you come up with (real or fictional) are the band's lineup.

2. The first page you come up with that isn't the name of the person is the name of your band.

3. The second not-a-person page is the title of the album.

4. The next ten not-a-person pages after that are the titles of the albums songs, in order.

Here is my example:

Artist: Shinsengumi

Lineup: Stanley Tarshis, Gail Bird, Yazzie Johnson, Harald Seegard

Album: Funding of Hezbollah

1. Stellwag's sign

2. Canton of Armentières

3. Southampton and Dorchester Railway

4. Narayanpet

5. Clinical Anatomy

6. Kaïs District

7. Torelló

8. The Surrender of Breda

9. First Eagles: The Great War 1918

10. Hopea jacobi

Post the results of yours!

Band: Zeroa

Frontman: Philippe Martin
Bass: Aliyar Ismailov
Lead Guitar: Abdoulaye Mamani (Also writes all their lyrics)
Rhythm Guitar: Branislav (Nobody knows his last name.  *

)
Keyboards: Charles McKeown
Drums: Tatiana Kotova  *

Album: CNX
Track List

  • Serpentine River
  • Kurac, Pička, Govno, Sisa  *
  • Counts Per Minute - The drummer is in this case replaced with a geiger counter sound effect that speeds up through the course of the song, until the big finish.
  • Belvoir Station  *
  • Latino Poetry - Ironically, an instrumental.
  • 1996–97 French Division 2
  • NEOS Library Consortium - That would have made a better band name, but they'd already signed the contract. So they immortalized it in a song about a fictional band.
  • Malebo, New South Wales
  • List of Royal Canadian Mounted Police commissioners - "Written" when Abdoulaye was unavailable due to an allergic reaction to Branislav's cooking, by putting the actual Wikipedia page to music.
  • Saddarsad - A cover of Weird Al Yankovic's "eBay" in persian.
  • Cole Harbour District High School - Actually about Philippe's experiences in college, but with the names and location and everything else changed. So not about his experiences at all, really.
  • Bristol Rhythm & Roots Reunion - A long tirade about how they never get asked to perform there. No actual music. In the middle of the album.
  • Agency.com - Rock ballad about a commercial espionage agency and their top spy. Originally going to be the title track, and this was intended to be a concept album, but the band couldn't agree on any other track on the album, so the whole project was scrapped except for this track.
  • Hepatitis delta virus ribozyme - Freeform stream-of-consciousness rambling with occasional chords.
  • Riguldi - An introspective, heartfelt song about Aliyar's visit to Estonia and what he learned there.
  • Chlorfenvinphos - The band just listing funny-sounding words to each other when they don't realize the technician in the sound booth has started recording again.
  • Polyalthia verrucipes - Their most well-known song, due to the large amount of radio play and the catchy chorus, "This article is a stub/This article's just a stub./Help it out if you can./Help the people understand."
  • Islamic TV - Removed from the album due to an argument between band members about how offensive it might be, but accidentally left on the track list on the jacket. Cause of the Urban Legend of Zelda about the album having a hidden track.
