I only heard about this twice. It's not airing in the US, and the foreign show isn't getting press at all, but it's frustrating to hear how bad it looks.
I am just wondering; is there any non-speculative animated series about modern military?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Nope.
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatThis chatterbox is lacking in random links.
Don't mind me. I'm just a creepy little lurker.WE NEED DISNEYZORD POWER, NOW!
Of course, don't you know anything about ALCHEMY?!- Twin clones of Ivan the GreatI'm going through the entire Disney Animated Canon in order. I'm almost done too, I finished Chicken Little.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Me? Was rekindling interest in Young Justice, EMH, Spec Spidey, Teen Titans,
I treat all living things equally. That is to say, I eat all living thingsGonna rewatch the Invader Zim episodes I don't already have on DVD. Haven't watched that show in a while.
So... It does seem that Monsters Vs Aliens does not have its own thread, so I'll ask the question here.
Ginormica has Super-Strength note even when we take her size into account, right?
Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. If case you guys are wondering what the creator of the Greatest Nicktoon ever is doing, he's been in Germany helping Berliner Film Companie (a German entertainment company) create various animation projects. One of them is Sherm (which reeks of blandness)
Also YTV and Slap Happy Cartoons of Vancouver are making Nerds and Monsters which looks bland (and reminds me of the worst non-fetish parts of this website's userbase) but which YTV show will it replace? Sidekick or Scaredy Squirrel? (I'm hoping Scaredy, it reeks of blandness and Almost Naked Animals is too much of a cash cow to be canned)

http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpI'm currently keeping up with Adventure Time, American Dad!, Bobs Burgers and Sym-Bionic Titan reruns on [adult swim].
And on the internet, I'm rapidly becoming addicted to this French animation school's shorts. Seriously, almost everything they put up is incredible.

I like a lot of shows targeted at younger audiences. Obviously, I'm a Pony fan, but I'm also watching at the moment when they are new and/or airing an episode I like, many of Disney Junior's shows including Doc McStuffins, PB&J Otter and Guess How Much I Love You. I've been watching Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and I'm planning to re-watch Timothy Goes to School soon.
Movie-wise, I just finished Brave earlier today and quite enjoyed it.
Good for you! :D
Random question.
Do you suppose you can write a PG~MA rated work that features main characters with messed up pasts, like being war criminals, gangs, serial killers?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Possibly, It would be a Black Comedy set in a prison (think superjail only centered around the prisoners)
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpActually, I am thinking of a dramedy set in a fictional town built by convicts (think of Australia, only much smaller and filled with even more dangerous animals). The main character is an attorney who served in a major war who massacred an entire village out of mixture of spite/rage/frustration.
The Deuteragonist, currently a police officer, is a son of immigrant and during teenage years was part of an infamous gang and served in a fantasy counterpart of French Foregin Legion.
Also, the mayor of the town used to be what is a fantastic counterpart of a Nazi officer.
And so on.
The whole story is essentially about characters with dark pasts coping with what were done to them and atoning for what they did.

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Teletoon got a new show called Rocket Monkeys and for once, Cartoon Network didn't get the rights to show this in the states (the Orange Splat did) it looks alright (but I have an acquired tolerence for modern day Canadian flash animation)
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpKnowing how weaksauce that show kinda looks to me, maybe that's a good thing - or is it just (bad) business as usual for CN? Either way, nothing of value was lost nor gained, I'm sure (regardless of side(s)).
Even if I had different face, I AM STILL DISGRACED.Warning, if you don't have a high tolerence for crude toilet humor, do not watch this

http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpRecently watched On Demand a CBeebies (British) show called The Large Family. Cute little Slice of Life show about a family of anthropomorphic elephants, sort of like Arthur. Well worth a watch for anyone that has a chance, I think.
The first 8 Rocket Monkeys eps are available at the pirate bay, if you liked Ren and Stimpy, you'll like it
Also Goof Troop is great
http://s1.zetaboards.com/Conceptual_Evolution/ http://sagan4.com/forum/index.phpI'm currently watching a variety of different cartoons right now. I occasionally will go and re-watch an episode of the Total Drama series (I'd be watching it more if I haven't seen every episode at least twice each) and finally watched every episode of 6teen by the late part of last year. My current focus is old cartoon network shows (I've already gone through a good chunk of Codename: Kids Next Door and am working on Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Powerpuff Girls, Ed, Edd and Eddy, and possibly Dexter's Laboratory if I ever stop procrastinating with it) as well as other stuff like Daria, Animaniacs, Adventure Time, and possibly Drawn Together if I ever decide to come back to it.
I don’t even know anymore.Just watched Megamind. I squeed five times. I teared up three times. I whimpered a lot. And by the end I had so many feelings.
I'm REALLY into Ed Edd N Eddy. I have 3 vhs tapes full of them. And the 1st 2 seasons on DVD. It's the funniest thing ever to me! I have memorized all those shows word for word LOL. It's really something that, even though I have watched a lot of episodes, I recently learned that there are about 40 episodes that I haven't seen yet! I wish I could find an E En E fan out there who likes it as much as I do!!
*Sigh*
Why is it that things always turn out like this?
I'm talking about this.
It's good in concept, but they really missed the point on the original to a such a horrible degree.
For one thing making the snake the villain is incredibly out of tune with the original, and the rose seems nothing like she was in the book.
I'm not against changing things in adaptations, but this is almost on the level of, say, taking Alice in Wonderland for all it's deconstructive dialogue and satire and turning it into a straight up adventure story... Oh wait.
