Well, thing about that is that Awakening didn't have magic broken by the tomes themselves. There's very little interesting about them aside from Nos's life drain. The big things that made them insane is that enemies have utter garbage for Res and Robin starts with the ability to use tomes. Tomes + Veteran (most broken skill in the game) + crap enemy Res = handing the player a super unit that can duo (counting the backpack here because they're crucial to Veteran) most of the game. Add in that Dark Flier is a monster of a class and F!Robin just laughs her way through just about anything.

Corrin can somewhat achieve the same thing, since Nobility is still quite strong, though not starting with the ability to use tomes means that getting rolling with a tome class (which either has to take up your alt class slot or be acquired from an A+/S support) takes a lot longer. Enemy Res is a bit higher, too, so it's not quite as abusable. That said, Corrin + Levin Sword is still incredibly dumb, so it's more a problem with tome availability to Corrin than anything. Camilla has worse Mag, but starts with tomes, so she can do similarly.

If there are selectable romances in this game, I'll likely be going for her.

For men thus far I'm interested in Claude, buuut there's the issue of Byleth being his teacher that would make that rather iffy.

My biggest worry regarding romance is that the Gay Option(s) will be relegated to the student body. Arguably that's worse than not having any at all.

So here's hoping Manuela is... Flexible, as Vampire Buddha said.

For my Fates redemption run, I'd say my MVP was a three-way tie between Ryoma, who is as overpowered as ever and was the main workhorse against Anankos (I <3 the Hagakure Blade), Charlotte, who... is Charlotte (and was my first character to hit 20/20), and Best Hubby and Best Support Character Silas, who turned out significantly stronger than Corrinne herself.

I love how Silas is just randomly a Jagen-level carry in Revelation with none of the Jagen-style downsides. Shows up at a decently high level with absurd bases and still retains his good growths. It's really quite silly (in the best way).

I always reclass him into a Hero because axes are really bonkers on him, good bases, and his growths are great all around save for Resistance.

How is Paladin/Great Knight Silas for you guys?

...GODDAMNIT!!! There was a detail that I completely overlooked in my A-Rank Genealogy playthrough! And so I have to re-start the game from the very beginning!

Though I do have to admit, this one is on me. Since I jumped into the game without being aware of how various of its mechanics work.

Silas as a great knight is OK. He gets decent Def, but it's not gamebreaking.

Silas as a paladin is a beast second only to Xander.

On the family chart from Fates Artbook it interestingly mentions the three Dragons of the three main Kingdoms are alive. So the Dawn/Dusk Dragons are alive somewhere.

Ice Dragon is dead.

Also the artbook reveals the name of the Ice Tribe. It's Freeza/Freezia/Etc. Based on how one wants to write it.

Blazing Blade Female-Only Run

Chapter 9

So... it's going to be a fog of war chapter... which shouldn't last long since there are so few enemies at the start and the only obstacle is Wallace, whom Florina picks up. I had her rescue him then move her to one of the Forts to make reinforcement not come.

I'm stand corrected, a bunch of enemies popped in the start. I had Florina drop him off in one fort to block off the Brigand since he's going to get in the way in the long run.

Since we only have 3 units, I have to be on the defensive since Serra is always vulnerable to flanking. Good thing she's carrying almost all of the vulneraries. I love how the Brigand are now having 0 hit on Lyn on a forest.

With most of the waves of enemies gone, the girls moved out to the gate. Florina lured out the soldiers guarding the boss. I had Florina hold a Javelin so that the enemy will attack with a Hand Axe, giving Lyn a guarantee to kill him. He hit with a 9 but he still went down.

Lyn is capped Speed in this part of the game. I seized the map after some last minute healing.

Reset: 1 (first in the game, Florina gets bad hit and an archer from the fog)

The Japanese Fire Emblem Twitter posted Dorothea's profile. Apparently she's the only commoner in the Black Eagles and was a songstress before enrolling in the school.

Chapter 10

The final chapter for Lyn mode. Lyn and group out with Florina taking out the initial enemies. Also, weather was a thing in this game.

Florina entered the village where it holds an Energy Ring, now, I'm deliberating on who to give it to. Lyn for more damage or Florina so that she could do more things. I considered giving it to Florina since she needs to do more damage.

So, we just keep moving down until we reach the boss's range. Lyn has the Lancereaver and the Mani Katti so she could make short work of Lundgren. I tried the Javelin for Lungren and she actually hit despite around 50s.

Lyn eventually beat Lundgren with the Mani Katti and seize, ending the Lyn mode.

Man, watching the epilogue with a lot of 0/0/0 is hilarious with exception of Rath and his 1/1/0. I'll also include the girl's records as well.
