Not much to say about the new Six Fairies Comic: cute as always, but very much setup for Part 2... and it is indeed mysterious. Clown Girl is definitely hidin' something and involved in this Stone business. And this Fairies-being-gone and Lifeforce-Missing is certainly a bit disturbing!

What has gotten me excited a bit lately is the maybe-in-the-far-future possibility that a Touhou Fighting Game might be played on Jesse Cox's very entertaining video series Super Animoo Fighters (In it, he plays Anime Fighting Games with two Fighting Game Enthusiast buddies, and, despite a lot of good-natured ribbing of Anime Tropes, the three actually treat all the games with a lot of respect and interest, always willling to be excited about good character designs, themes or game mechanics).

Most of their videos lately have had Top-Rated Comments petitioning for them to play one of the Touhou Fighters! (Mostly Flowers, since it's the latest one, and on Steam, but there are classic GQ enthusiasts who petition for that one as well). I really, really hope that happens eventually, it would be amazing havin' these guys discover the Touhou 'verse through this, commenting on all the crazy chars... pretty sure they'd like it.

(EDIT:) Keepin' up with dat theme of Youtubers bein' exposed to Touhou, here's a clip of the Super Best Friends tryin' to guess which Touhou Game Names are fake and which are real "DOUBLE SPOILER!?!?"

(EDIT 2:) Oh Dear God, they also played GQ once That is basically what I had been lookin' forward to with the Jesse Cox Thing mentioned above, but now that I've discovered it, I might be too scared to watch it... what if they hate it...?

Funny, I daydream with distressing regularity about a stand-up comedy routine not by Flandre, but an outsider trying to adjust to life in Gensokyo.

HEARTBEAT, New Indie JRPG with obvious Touhou influences.

Pretty sure the creator is a specific Touhou fanartist whose works I've seen before, but their name is different in the credits and I won't speculate as to why. I played it, it's cool. I guess it's not really Touhou related, technically, but I always like it when Touhou fans go on to make their own stuff. It's fun to see.

Also it seems a little odd to me how obscure this is, in terms of there being absolutely no discussion of it anywhere, and we don't even have a real page for it either. Heartbeat. Maybe that's normal though, for all the things I've never heard of.

Also the title of the game is un-google-able.

The artist of the game made touhoustuck a while back, tho theyve distanced themselves from the fandom since.

You all should get heartbeat! Its fun and cute and it has a 99% female cast, like touhou!
