At least canon wise, she does make dolls to make fun of people/based on what she thinks of them.

^ But she does make straw effigies for voodoo-style curses in canon.

Not necessarily crazy, but there is a reason to be wary of some of her dolls.

I have Alice making dolls of her (few, good) friends as a sort of tribute, like, say, Luna Lovegood's ceiling painting. It's... I think I'm going to end up sort of overdoing the transition from "her personality is uncaring towards others" (Ia MP) to "she used to be human so she's more considerate of them" (Memento.) Those two aren't necessarily incompatible, but I choose to interpret them as an evolving character.

Either that or she's just inspired by their crazy outfits and/or interesting body types.

Oh, and I'm sure no one else cares but Rumbling Spell Orchestra 5.0 came out in comiket and there are like scans and stuff. No translation yet though, as far as I can tell.

Minor IJBM moment: Yamame Kurodani's theme isn't even a minute long. I get that she's only a Stage 1 boss, but this is just ridiculous.

And yet, it's one of the best Stage 1 Boss themes I've ever seen.

^ I have to kinda agree. I noticed ZUN rarely puts exceptional effort into Stage 1 themes and boss music. (UFO being the uber exception) Yamame's theme short as it is, is vastly superior to Rumia's, Wriggle's, Letty's (Especially), and Miniroko's (especially too) themes.

Which is sorta ironic as The Dark Blowhole the SA Stage 1 theme is weaker than IN, PCB and UFO's Stage 1 themes.

I love how it usually hits that musical climax right as she's firing off Filled Miasma.

I like Minorikos actually, but Dark Road is my favorite theme song.

While I dislike Letty's theme, her boss banter is pretty funny.

It happens to everyone. Try taking a little break and putting other things on your mind. Relax and don't push yourself all too hard. You don't want the writing to feel like punishment to you, it's supposed to be fun. If by the time the break's over, you decided that you don't want to continue writing, more soul-searching might be in order in regards to whether you really want to write it or not. The answer could be either one.

Scarabs, please explain to me why the Japanese use "w" to mean "lol"?

PS: I agree with the Meiling remix you posted. I have no idea why her stage theme is more popular. It sounds so... whiny to me. Her boss theme is actually pretty badass and upbeat.
