This is a thread for people who will not be or have not been on the site for a while, whether due to real life or to resist an internet addiction, the latter of which is encouraged within reason. Also, talk about the benefits/whatever of taking a day or a weekend off, or things to do when not online. TV Tropes ruining your life is nothing to be proud of.
Generally, expect the following from this thread:
- People announcing their departure or return.
- Moderators announcing a significant forum ban — not trolls or vandals, but someone people will notice and miss.
- Inquiries about an absent troper.
- Responses to inquiries about an absent troper.

That's a good question. He was a cool guy, but he just kind of dropped off the face of the earth.
what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseHow about deathjavu?
Apparently death_vlk had been posting fairly regularly until February 11, when he suddenly stopped and hasn't posted since.
I hope something didn't happen to him.

Wait, is something wrong Sixth?
Let's see if you can get past my Beelzemon. Mephiles, WARP SHINKA!@sixth, you will be missed.
I know I'm not the most well-known person on these forums, but I need to take a break from here for a bit. I haven't felt comfortable on TV Tropes for a little while, and with how heated things are starting to get it might just be best for me to go until things cool down. Today's debacle was too much for me. The last thing I do until I'm absent is fulfill an offer I made wolfie over PM, and then I probably won't be back for a few months. It's probably for the best.

135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I'm obviously turning up on these forums less and less. This is because of final exams. Bear with me. It'll be over halfway through November.

what do you mean I didn't win, I ate more wet t-shirts than anyone elseYou're not the only one who does.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300He's been in the RP threads.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell? That's good. Thanks. :)
I like to keep my audience riveted.Senior year in high school has proven itself to be a challenge, so i'm going to refrain from going online during the week, and will probably appear more during weekends.
Taking the day off to regain composure. Might be back tomorrow

I'm here for Starscream 795. He was my first friend coming in to the MLP forum three years ago. He hasn't been on for about a year. I miss my very first friend.
I'm gonna take a break from this website until the 6th of November. I think it is draining what little energy I have (hence why I've also diminished my use of things such as Facebook in these past months), and I'm having greater difficulties with relating to most people, their ideas (with the exception of a few) and possibly the site as a whole.
Take care.
135 - 169 - 273 - 191 - 188 - 230 - 300I'm back for now.
This is a signature.I'm going to be gone most of November for Na No Wri Mo. If I end up really ahead in my word count, I might stop by. But if not, see you in December!
I'm going to seriously cutting down on my TV Tropes usage from now on anyway. It's become way too much of a time commitment. I'm finding myself being guilted and called inconsiderate by other tropers for not spending enough time on certain threads or chatting on Facebook or whatever. I never wanted this to be a huge time commitment and now I'm spending hours and hours of my day talking to tropers when I have other things I've really got to do

Good luck on the book stuff!
I know I've asked this before, but seriously, where the fuck did death_vlk go?
