ya know Caprice, it took me a while to get to like Alice too, for pretty much the same reason.
I think being more used to working with Marisa is part of it. Another part is that working with her long-distance might be more bearable.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersThe way I see it, that's exactly why she's spoiled. She has the perfect life that everyone wishes they could have, yet complains about trivial things like the taste of the food. If she was happy in heaven, she wouldn't be spoiled she'd just be happy. Being whiny is the key difference.
I'm pretty sure she says shes willing to deal with larger problems if she can have more fun anyway at some point. Shes trying to go away from the pampered lifestyle.
If people learned from their mistakes, there wouldn't be this thing called bad habits....I like tsundere Alice. *grazes bullets* Let me finish, damn it!
I like the picture of Alice being a loner, quietly making her dolls and working on magic theory. Marisa, a neighbour and somewhat colleague, is among the people she sees the most. She doesn't like Marisa. Marisa is messy, unorganized, wild, uncivilized and keeps borrowing her books without permission. But...she's refreshing. It's not like Alice is bored, she loves her work. But Marisa...makes her smile.
...right, enough of my wild theories. I'm kinda "meh" when it comes to Alice, because I don't like her playing-style. But I support Malice with all my heart! *shot*

Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Well, I don't think that it's the idea of Alice being tsundere what bothers everyone so much. It's probably, like Caprice said, that people tend to replace every other cool or interesting personality trait she has for a more simple/superficial tsundere personality.
People wouldn't get so annoyed (or at least I wouldn't) if it weren't deliberately done to transform her into a typical tsundere love interest.

I'm pretty sure Skygraze nailed it on the head there.

I like to imagine Alice finds Marisa genuinely refreshing, as she has that crazy hint of wild imagination that can inspire some pretty cool stuff.
The three finest things in life are to splat your enemies, drive them from their turf, and hear their lamentations as their rank falls! They work really well together. Alice provides guidance, Marisa the sheer energy.

Hm? I didn't say anything about shipping them, just that they'd make a good team.
My point stands.
By the by, who's up next?

Hmm. *looks at avatar* did we do CAPTAIN MURASA MOTHERFUCKING MINAMITSU yet?
...I think we did, actually...
I just updated the list of discussed characters in the first post... Though I did it from memory, so I may have made a mistake somewhere.
I'll go through the thread and link the discussions soon, too. Remind me of it if I slack off too much!
Still a bunch of promising characters left.
I vote for Keine, because Keine is awesome.
Your funny quote here! (Maybe)Keine sounds good.
Thirding Keine
I'm fine with Keine. Her power is one of the most interesting ones, in my opinion (even though I can't seem to figure out how it actually works)
I have a theory about that but I'll wait until discussion starts.
So, I guess I'll fourth Keine if nobody is interested in doing the unnamed giant catfish.
I have a feeling we're forgetting Sakuya someone... a playable character even... Have we done Sanae yet?
Hey! It's not just Sanae, you're forgetting one playable silver-haired girl!!
Youmu was playable in Imperishable Night!

Oh, god! I feel terrible for forgetting Youmu like that! How could I possibly forget a silver-haired playable character who is so adept at bladed weapons?

Forever liveblogging the AvengersThere's another silver haired character we keep not doing.
Hi there, new contributors!
