Ooooh, you do reviews? ...And you have a novel in the works?
@Limit Are you sure you aren't playing a Live Action Persona game?
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold!...Crap. You've found out my secret. *pulls out gun and jumps into a TV*
I refer you back to "I spend most of my waking time at my workplace".
Will you tell us your real name when your novel is published? So we can boast "Hey, I know Chester Smith, author of Peruvian Hearts on Fire! We are in the same writing cache! We talk about kids who strip teenagers down all the time!"
On second thought, scratch that last sentence off, Chester.

Well, that wasn't very smart. [unplugs TV]
Off to bed, then up to get loaded. I should be online tomorrow afternoon, barring stupid crap.
Delivering will suck since there is 8 hours time between the two stops, but what can you do?
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold!I could swear I saw this in Sailor Moon S.
@OM: Honestly, yes. I will. I could use publicity.
YOU BASTARD!
Just call Teddy and jump out a different TV. It wouldn't be the first time it happened (looks at Persona 4 Arena).
Also, you still exit the tv you entered ever if it is unplugged.

Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2It's funnier when they don't know that mega. Shhhh!
By the way, how do you escape the girls searching for you in the Kyoto baths in Persona 3? I keep getting caught.
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold!Good GOD I have weird dreams...
Today I woke up thinking Disney was dubbing a live-action Cardcaptors movie.
You know you want to add loveHyper Blade: As noted, not all of Batman's Rogues are his students - Killer Croc and Charaxes for starters, among those I remember at the moment. Bearing that in mind, Bane and Deathstroke almost certainly would've appeared at some point in time.
No Limit: .... I do not want to think about that.
OM: I do not recall stating that the non 3-A villains were Americans or otherwise foreigners. If it was implied, then I apologize. They are (primarily) Japanese criminals. Also, the majority of Negi's villainous students are not mentally disturbed, just criminally inclined - usually, a Noble Demon (particularly the case with Mana and Natsumi, who are respectively a contract killer and a mob boss). The only students of Negi's with mental problems are Nodoka and Makie - and in the latter's case, she's much more of a danger to herself than to anyone else. Nodoka's disorder... is probably unidentifiable, and it doesn't even manifest until somewhere around Kyoto.
The Justice League exists... or will, probably somewhere between Mahorafest and Mundus Magicus. As mentioned, there will be crossover chapters with Green Lantern, Supergirl, and Pink Arrow.
NL: Novel? Color me interested.
Nimrod: Keep the rock between you and them at all times, and in the final stretch, hang out in the outcropping at the bottom middle of said center rock.
@Uber
Your welcome. Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2
@Anemoi: What's MIP?
Und wenn du lange in einen Abgrund blickst, blickt der Abgrund auch in dich hinein. My Little Pony. His 'l' was undercase.
As far as I know MLP magic's only limitations are the skill, willpower and imagination of the caster. On the other hand, they at least can study magic, while in Lot R it's the domain of the Maya and some very old elves, who seem to have it come naturally to them.
Und wenn du lange in einen Abgrund blickst, blickt der Abgrund auch in dich hinein. In MLP, it's also influenced by the caster's special talent. Twilight has been surprised by what magic can do before though which implies the existence of rules.
As for the Lot R, Maia are the second most powerful type of angels (as the elves classify them), so you'd expect a lot of power there. Balrogs lost some of their powers, such as the shapeshifting, but clearly still have supernatural abilities.
@Eva Natsumi a mob boss? Really? I can see Natsumi being Black Mask easier.
But, to address what OM was talking about:
Batman is American through and through. All of the Major Rogues have American names.
What is needed is more Japanese names. Instead of Black Mask, run with Kuromen. 'Kuro' being 'Black' and 'men' meaning 'mask' according to the online translator. I might be wrong, but that is the fault of the translation program. I found it in less than a minute.
You get the idea though. Even the Joker might have to become Oni just for the story. Unless Oni doesn't mean what I think it means.
...
But thank you and mega both for the tip. Now I just need to get home and try it.
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold!Eh, no, actually, that wasn't what I meant. Since he listed several villains as 'Non Negima characters', I assumed they were their default, standard DC selves. It seems they are OCs with the names and motifs of the original villains, though. That's a risk proposal since you'd have to redo each character basically from scratch. Batman fans already know Comics Bane's deal, but if you're remaking the character, you need to take your time reimagining it and explaining its reasons all over again, much like The Dark Knight Rises did. That's one of the tricky parts and where you really have to be careful.
I think using the original American 'codenames' is okay, if you assume we're just reading the translation of what the Japanese would be saying. Otherwise we might be borderlining Gratuitous Japanese territory.

Oh. My bad then.
But the American names do bother me a little. If the Batman mythos (such as it is) were to arise in Japan, then it would make sense for the Villians to adopt Japanese names.
At least that is how I'm thinking. Even if it would be a royal pain to find Japanese names for some of the characters.
Edit: But yes, Gratuitous Japanese would be bad. Especially since that translator program found four words for 'black' and four more for 'mask.'

Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold! This whole thing is reminding me of Marvel Mangaverse. Oh, what a silly little thing that was...
I knew about ninja Spiderman, but the Fantastic Four are Evangelion characters? The Punisher is a bondage-using geisha? Normally I'd put a third weirdness here, but the Punisher is a bondage-using geisha?
I read that. It was very silly. They could have done much worse, and I suppose the Attack of the Fifty Foot Hulk would be an example of WORSE.
Madman with a box? I'm a madman with a semi, a pretzel bender and a Heart of Gold! The only Mangaverse book I actually read was the Punisher's. I thought it was actually okay. Very silly, but that seemed to be the whole point.
Edit: Sorry, wrong post.

I graduated long ago, I spend most of my waking hours at my workplace, I don't do D&D, and as for friends... ahhhhhh... I guess it depends on your definition of friends...
