With Zaslav at the helm? Not a chance, I'm afraid.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit. As discussed earlier, I don't think he and Vietti would ever truly 'finish up' the show.
It's probably the same distinction that was happening between s2 and the announcement of s3- not cancelled, just not picked up for renewal.
My AO3Yeah Zaslav just seems to be really petty and spiteful. If he doesn't get it he'll refuse to renew it
With Weisman I can at least see him wrapping up the Light and Apokolips arcs. I think he said he had 7 seasons worth of ideas.

A while back, I wanted to write a Teen Titans (2003) fanfic, and I needed a character that thinks all demons need to be wiped out and was super self-righteous about it. Someone in this thread pointed me in the direction of Kid Crusader, who fit all my criteria perfectly. Finally got around to writing the thing, and I'd like to thank whoever it was that recommended Kid Crusader to me.

Which characters do you think would have the most interesting reaction to their comic counterparts?
For me, it would definitely be Jade, Artemis, and the Harper boys.
Honestly I'd like to see YJ Artemis react to Stargirl Artemis.
YJ!Bart and Comics!Bart would also be interesting.
My AO3I think YJ!Superboy and Comics!Superboy would really dislike each other at first but then learn to get along.
YJ!Connor would probably feel a bit jealous seeing Comics!Connor's full Kryptonian power.
Disgusted, but not surprisedAssuming there was no proper conclusion in plans, is there anything specific you regret you didn't get to see in Young Justice or any of Weisman's shows?
I always regretted that Spectacular didn't get Scorpion. He was the only main villain really missing, especially since the show was heavily based on the original run of Amazing Spider-Man.
They had set up Scorpion, Hobgoblin and Carnage. Osborn is on the phone with Mac Gargan in the final episode, But I have a hunch that he appeared earlier, as this one guy in "Identity Crisis" who asks Gwen what it's like to kiss a freak, during the stint where people wondered if Peter as Spider-man. I'm sure that the Hobgoblin would have had an arc. Like, half of the point of "Accomplices" was to set up Hoby. May have seen Harry don the Green Goblin outfit due to that. Eddie ended up in Ravencroft, and I'm sure that the symbiote would have broken him out, leaving behind it's spawn to merge with a nearby Cletus Kasady. Speaking of Kasady, I don't think he's a mass murderer, or he wouldn't be attending group therapy with Otto and others, so I'm curious what his new deal would have been. Oh, Morry Bench showed up very briefly. Probably would have become Hydroman at some point...
So, with the show ending with Harry hating Spider-man, I can see him wanting revenge. I have a theory that he might do something like hire the Smythes to build Spider-Slayers, or make Scorpion. Now, JJ is historically involved with both those guys, but I feel that a Harry JJ team-up isn't out of the question, as they'd both hate Spidey, and I can see JJ helping out the recently fatherless Harry.

Son of the Goblin arc would have been cool. But since this is a YJ thread...
I'd liked to have seen conclusions to stuff like the Markovia plot, the GL-Reach war ending (hopefully due to the KDRA), and the like. I admit YJ's fractured stories for a lot of characters turned me off in later seasons, so I'd also like to see more emotional arcs concluded.
My AO3A lot of things but mostly Jason Todd doing something apart from being the Al Ghuls' amnesiac bodyguard. I don't even care what that something is, could be a retelling of Under the Red Hood, could be him attacking Tim, could be an original plot. I agree on getting closure on the Reach. And this is probably too much to ask for a Weissman show but the Light being brought down.
For Spectacular Spider-Man I mostly want Harry as the Green Goblin and Carnage.
Young Justice - I'm curious to learn more about the Fourth World stuff, especially how they handle Mr. Miracle. Maybe more focus on Mary and what she did for her to try to give up her power, as well as more Billy and Freddy focus. Continuation of Jade trying to reconnect with her family, especially Will and Lian. Maybe paying off some of the comic tie-in's loose ends like Gorilla City, Dick's uncle, or Wade Eiling's plans for Captain Atom. And of course, Artemis finding out the truth about her "encounter" with Wally.
The Spectacular Spider-Man - The promised villains (Hydro-Man, Scorpion, Hobgoblin). The last one in particular was interesting since they were setting up the Kingsleys and I always wanted a more faithful adaptation of that story. Also the Spider-Mobile would've been amusing, as well as the Peter vs. Flash box match, and whatever event would've prompted a potential spin-off with Hobie, Flint, and Felicia.
W.I.T.C.H. - Just the villains they set up in the season 2 finale. Human antagonists would've been a nice change after Phobos, Nerissa, and Cedric.
Gargoyles - Nothing huge since the current comic series seems to be checking off a lot of Greg's planned ideas for season 3 and beyond. Maybe Gargoyles 2198 or Timedancer as comic minis.

Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).Young Justice Season 5 Gets Hopeful Update From Superboy Actor
The first two seasons are great, so I'm excited to eventually catch up certainly.
So, nothing has changed then.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I'm kinda hoping it doesn't come back tbh.
The mini-arc thing really did not sit well with me, because it was just simply not enough time to really spend with any of the characters, and the fact that Beast Boy kept taking more and more time away from the characters whom the mini-arcs were supposed to focus on just really dragged things on for no reason.
And I absolutely say it was for no reason, because Connor surviving and getting blasted into the Phantom Zone was such an easily predictable "twist" that it utterly robbed the season of any pathos it was trying to build up.
Chain an angry nature god at your own peril.A doubt I'm having is that the character line-up moving forward changed so much from the sound of it. Gonna keep an open mind though.
Anyone watch Implicitly Pretentious? He's covered all four seasons (and the video game) and is currently doing character-focused video essays. Here's the one he just released for Kaldur'ahm.
He's got Artemis left. No idea if he's going to do the late-comers (Zatanna, Will, and Raquel), or anyone else.
Latest blog update (November 5th, 2022).I'd probably either check out thoughts on the first two seasons or wait until I've wrapped the whole series first certainly.
So this isn't really Young Justice related, but at the same time it's not completely unrelated. I wanted to get a handle on Donna Troy, AKA Wonder Girl. In this series she's Troya, the UN ambassador for Themyscira. I wanted to see what kind of rogues gallery the comics character has had during her tenure as Wonder Girl, but finding that out proved to be harder than you'd think, because every article would either list Wonder Woman's rogues gallery, or the Teen Titan's rogues gallery. Does Wonder Girl have, like, an arch nemesis that's hers, and not Wonder Woman's? She must have some bad guys that are hers and not borrowed from somewhere else.
Maybe it will get lucky again. There’s demand for it
