Honestly, I wouldn't trust the IBO staff with a Calamity War story. The way it's addressed in IBO makes me deeply suspicious that they don't have any better idea what actually happened in the Calamity War than we do, and I'm not confident in their ability to come up with anything satisfying after the fact. Nevermind that we already have a Foregone Conclusion that's a Bittersweet Ending at best — humanity survives, but only by submitting itself to a system of brutal aristocratic dictatorship that proceeds to rule the solar system with an iron fist for the next three centuries and change.

Yeah, admittedly a Calamity War-based installment would be hard to swallow, especially with how the main series ended.
Not to mention having to create 60-something other Gundam Frame designs would probably tire out the budget for what is essentially one piece of the IBO verse.

What's precedent ever done for us?
The IBO announcement happened to be that more Gundam IBO is on the way. The show's website has been updated to say that and also has artwork of the back of either a new mobile suite or a new version of Barbatos. The website does not clarify what the new content will be.

Huh, it'd be cool to see the Titans again. I wonder if that was one of the directions that one of those three kids goes, like after the war they get caught up in the anti-spacenoid rhetoric and hop over to the Titans. Really hope we see them again. Titans and their State Sec bullshit is always fun especially because it crops up a few times post Zeta. Haven't seen too much of 0083 but it was neat to see Bask being an ass again. That and watching that Titans pilot in a suit cobbled together from different Titan MS's utterly wrecking bad guy suits from like 4 different series in Unicorn was a fun watch.
Also, watching Zeta, Yazan just showed up. Dude's awesome. What a shitbag. That said Blex was wasted. For such an important dude he's just got so little to do and he's dead. Shame.
A prequel I get, but a sequel? Is it going to be a next generation thing?

Narrative seems to encompass the start of the OYW to post Unicorn. I'd say it'd be much more heavily a sequel with the prequel stuff used more to inform the characters and set them up.
I meant IBO, but Narrative really has me hoping “UC 2” is code for something else especially if it’s live action since Narrative is already a sequel to Unicorn and probably fills in a lot of plot holes.
If Showtime is doing a LA Halo, HBO can do a live action Gundam. Just saying...

Speaking of the Calamity War and Daemon X Machina, am I the only one kinda pumped for how, given we're fighting a Robot War using super-powered mecha of our own against some gigantic unmanned weapons, this may be as close as we get to a Calamity War video game?
