Forgive me if I'm skeptical of his totally evidence-free claim that he couldn't get a lawyer to accept without a corporation-sized retainer. Especially on the Civil War claim, since you'd need some pretty damn striking similarities to show that they ripped off a specific Super Registration Act plotline, as opposed to just using the same tired cliche he did.

You need proof? Ask it from him. He gives his email and says, "Need proof? I'll send it to you."
Jonah FalconThat's oddly secretive of him though. Why not just put it up with the blog so that people don't have to email him in the first place?
Becuase the man's a lying and attention seeking S.O.B.
Any fanfiction writer with half a brain on the other side of the world could have thought of House of M or Civil War.
When All Else Fails, you have fun and flirt wit da ladies, dats da Drawings way!I can think of much better reasons to hate the people running Marvel right now (some of already know them).
I'm on the internet. My arguments are invalid.I follow CB Cebulski's Twitter, (one of the editors at Marvel, and in fact probably the one most involved with bringing in and nurturing new talent), and he's stated quite frequently and vehemently that Marvel does not under any circumstances accept unpublished work from people trying to get hired as writers at Marvel, and will just throw it away if they receive it precisely because of writers trying to make claims like these.
When I say "accept," I'm talking about like as a portfolio sort of thing—that's why they can accept published stuff. He even mentions how webcomics are a good way to get "published work" available for Marvel to read, since they won't accept manuscripts or story ideas or anything. They don't accept pitches for stories from people not under contract to them at all.

Wait, so I know who to blame for the comics now! It wasn't Mark Miller? It was him, Jerry Bonner, and I would almost care if I still read comics but I don't.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture Rack^ His name is Mark Millar - Mill Ar not Miller, I know it's hard to tell a difference between him and Frank Miller, but seriously, this is getting annoying.
My bad
Actually I have a much higher tolerance for Frank Miller. Which is not a whole lot but he did the Dark Knight Returns and Robo Cop, so he's okay.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackGiven how bad House of M and Civil War were, he's not exactly helping my impression of him.
I will keep my soul in a place out of sight, Far off, where the pulse of it is not heard.I think Frank Miller Mark Millar only wrote Civil War. Bendis was the one who wrote the House of M clusterfuck.

^Mark Millar wrote Civil War. Frank Miller. Mark Millar. Two different writers. Some similarities between the two, but definitely different writers.
If this guy supposedly came up with the ideas for Civil War and House of M, why his he just now, years after they have come out, making this claim?
Because he's not actually looking to get anything material out of it. He wants to be talked about, and here we are talking about him.

I will keep my soul in a place out of sight, Far off, where the pulse of it is not heard. So, anyone want to email him? Maybe some other blogger has done it?
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Didn't Mark Millar claim Civil War didn't turn out like he wanted it to be?
Half-Life: Dual Nature, a crossover story of reasonably sized proportions.^ Considering he wanted the Pro Reg side to be the good guys, I'm gonna say DUH!!
I swear they should do a "Premiums" line where they redo classic story-arcs with highranking writers.
Closet DCLAU fan."So, I'll be boycotting any and all Marvel products from here on out (except for the Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 video game because it looks friggin' awesome and I'll be helping Capcom more than Marvel by purchasing it)."
Dan Quesada must be wetting himself after that. "Oh man, a completely unknown crazy blogger said we stole his ideas on a comic we published 5 years ago! Woe is us!"
@Jack Mackerel - yeah. Here's short list of things his original pitch didn't had that ended in final script:
- Destruction of Stamford
- Death Of New Warriors
- Spider-Man unmassking
- Clor
- Death of Bill Foster
- Death of Captain America
- Speedball becoming Penance
A.k.a. most of things people hate about this comics. Not defending Millar, but seriously, that was giant Executive Meddling.
