Now find an excuse for him shooting Makoto in cold blood
Heart of StoneSpeaking of Jungo being murderd, how could I forget the hilarious incongruity of his brutal death immediately followed up by Operation Cardboard Box?
This game is amazing.
True enough. Although, to be fair, the doctor mocking the starving Diet member and saying "sanctity of life? What are you babbling about? Go commit suicide" probably means the weak will be left to die even if they aren't actively killed.
ANOTHER thing I forgot to mention: Io is totally the "canon" Li isn't she? I don't mind her at all but I thought we would have options here. Damn shame. Yamato has the biggest crush on you anyway.

I was disappointed in the first game's lack of explanation for the fate of companions in this new world and the second game let me down, too. There was no ending slide for the various characters and companions. Fallout New Vegas this is not.
I'm just curious what you all think might have become of your associates since the games don't specify? Pure speculation of course but I am sure I'm not the only person who wondered about this.
Also why did AO distribute the summoning app to everyone? In the first game Azuma and the Shomonkai were trying to spread chaos and destruction so it makes sense to give the power to summon demons to rando's. AO is decidedly less malevolent and also far more powerful. There'd be far fewer dead from failed demon contracts or from being abused by thugs if he hadn't given out that power so freely

Yamato was not utilizing the knowledge he gave him in a way he wished, so AO did things like release the APP, make Tico, etc. to give mankind a fair chance.
The Shomonkai thought they were No-Sell to all free COM Ps in 1, Naoya tricked thrm and removed that bit of the Code from the DSP program. Azuma complains because this is how Gin hurts him in a level.

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I know that but that is just a failsafe for -them-. It does nothing to protect random people from being killed during the contract process when they can't fight back or to protect non-Shomonkai from being killed by SDF goons or Yakuza or anyone else who was handed a COMP and decided to abuse it.
Also I noticed no one in this game used their strong will to call demons like Keisuke, Kaido and the rest did.
And fair enough about not being satisfied with Yamato but giving the app to EVERYONE was a clear mistake.

Maybe the AO made an Obvious Rule Patch in his Demon Summoning Program to prevent people from summoning demons just by having a strong will.
The strong will summonings were because the barrier between between the human world and Makai was getting weaker. That isn't a issue in DeSu2.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’Is Triangulum designed around you beating the main story? I shudder to think how I'd be handling all this without my accumulated skills. Already got Elemental Amps on io and stuff.
Also I kinda got a spoiler when looking at a Reddit thread on DS 1 and 2. At least in one ending "Hibiki" becomes the new Administrator? You don't have to clarify or explain, just making a note. I'm curious to see how that might come about.

I think it is, but I might be wrong about that...
@ asterism: There's no excuse for what Ronaldo did, but as I said before I can't really muster sympathy for Makoto, either. And if Ronaldo had spared her, Yamato would've killed her afterward for failing him anyway.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."You can take on the Triangulum arc as a New Game Plus but it's perfectly doable fresh. You just have to deal with some Early Game Hell for an hour or so as you have to whip up a batch of usable demons in the Lv.20-25ish range from scratch.

My Megaman and MegaTen liveblogsHe wouldn't.
‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’I mean, wouldn't he? He thinks people who fail deserve to die.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Actually not and I don’t even really like Yamato
He’s more likely to give her less responsibility which would be hurtful to her and use her still because ultimately she’s more valuable alive than dead obviously.
The people he doesn’t care for having alive are those who don’t seem to contribute anything like politicians who are corrupt.
Which is another problematic thing but yeah.
He seems to be of the "let them die on their own" opinion. In one scene with him a subordinate fails and expects punishment for it but Yamato is like "whatever, I expected nothing from you to begin with." I don't recall him ever killing anyone for failure.

Should I spoiler how he ultimately thinks of Ronaldo at the end?
I mean, in my ending, he was okay with recruiting him and acknowledged him as strong. Said he could become something great in Yamato's world. But then Ronnie went and killed himself.
I actually don’t blame Ronaldo’s hatred for Yamato
He’s ultimately less helpful than him but his rage is justified. Just his actions aren’t for the most part
He's so reasonable in his pseudo S Links. He never shot Makoto in my game (I have no idea how that comes about.) but his actions are still reckless and crazy out of the blue.
Less so since Dera Deka was alive. So it's either he is that good or Ronaldo isn't that great of a detective.

‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’He fooled Yamato with all his resources and connections. I am not surprised Ronaldo was deceived, too.
Speaking of which, it's very peculiar everyone misses Yamato so desperately in Triangulum, including Airi whose father is presumably alive and well and not in hiding in this world.

Seriously! Was it really that hard to just simply have that particular Death Clip not happen if Ronaldo's Relationship Values were maxed out!?
"Death's vastness holds no peace. I come at the end of the long road—neither human, nor devil... All bends to my will." -Demifiend.Was under the impression Yamato didn't care enough to commit to it. The whole thing reeks of But for Me, It Was Tuesday.

‘My ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.’
Though Ronaldo doesn't have total control over his followers.
I'm sure if he'd been there, he'd have never let Jungo be killed in the first place.
Remember, these are a bunch of angry civilians. There's not much discipline there.
