YouTuber BuffMaister posted a subbed version of Nahobeeho's Daily Demon Showcase video. Turns out that Nahobino costume is something that Jack Frost made by himself. Aw, that's pretty cute.
The funniest bit to know about Abdiel is that she literally shares the same lipstick color as Mastema. Guess that would make her perfect to contrast with him.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.heaven only has one branch of sephora, plz understand
Song of the SirensCompleted Yamato's ending path; Meritorius was one of ones that I'd never taken on fresh without New Game Plus before (Egalitarian and Liberator were the only ones I have, for the record). I thought I'd be okay for Polaris B by stocking up on demons with Null/Drain Physical but I forgot that Cepheid can pierce and then the game tosses a Boss in Mook Clothing at you in the form of a Lv. 77 Da Peng that throws out piercing Multi-Strikes.
I've spoken in the past how I feel like the game fumbled the bag in how it depicts the new world in its epilogue. After spending a chunk of the game listening to some of the non-Yamato and Keita characters talk at length over how a merit-driven society doesn't have to be simply an uncaring dog-eat-dog world for the common man it doesn't put its best foot forward. The scene with the refugees strategizing how to get past a demon horde tries to embody that with the idea that a talented individual, even an unlikely one, can bring out the best in those around them, but the game leads with too much Evil Laughter and gloating to really land. It doesn't help that I don't believe in the Great Man theory like Yamato clearly does; such individuals have been exceptionally rare throughout history. His route would've benefitted the most from an 8th Day style expansion provided it was competently written IMO.
Next is Kingmaker. It's brand of Early Route Hell is going to be interesting!
Yeah, I'm very anti-great man theory. Sure it's important that talented individuals can contribute to any cause or artistic endeavor, but they still had help, and exceptional circumstances.
And Yamato is kind of a supervillain with his own moments of benevolence. That's kind of how I see him, so his ending having all sorts of gloating and evil coded behavior amidst progress feels fitting.
That said, I think the only way his vision could ever work is because he literally had to rewrite the brains of humanity to force his vision.
I'll teach you a lesson about just how cruel the world can be. That's my job, as an adult.Yeah fundamentally it as a system only works because humanity had to be rewired as a species for it to work at all(same for Ronaldo). It’s one of the things I like about it since it shows how human nature doesn’t really work with Meritocracy as a concept.
As for VV, here’s a general gist of info from what’s been said so far about Demon Haunts and Aogami:
Demons and Navigators
- use them enough in combat, etc and they will signal you to talk in the demon haunt
- talk to them for a special conversation that can sometimes include other demons talking to each other
- they will give you items
- you can give them gift boxes to speed this up
- demons you do this enough with will have extra benefits like fusion bonuses, skills, and stat boosts for said demon.
- you can take pictures of them with a free camera
Human companions:
- Can be found in the demon haunt and can talk to them
- characters available depend on where you are in the story
Aogami:
- special bench conversations
- scripted and animated cutscenes presumably fully voiced
- unlocking each scene raises Aogami's affinity with the protagonist
- stat and skill boosts unlocked after each conversation
- scenes are triggered by each major story beat and are presumably time sensitive as a result

Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.I booted up Strange Journey Redux after a long time not playing, and I recently finished up the New Neutral route, the last of the new routes I had done.
I had completely forgotten the mechanics of the Empyrean Ascent, so I had to double-check how the warp gates worked. I still feel like New Game Plus Grus is ultimately worse than the Lower Layer in terms of dungeon traversal, though Lucifer's generals kind of make up the difference in terms of being a pain in the ass.
So here's something dumb I thought up after being reminded of how Fire Emblem: Three Houses was brought up earlier, and because I'm in a major SMT mood right now.
I was thinking of a Fire Emblem fanfic that a friend of mine read a long time ago where the writer took the story of Rurouni Kenshin and replaced the characters with Fire Emblem characters. Which then led me to think "Hey, wouldn't it be funny if I put Three Houses and Three Hopes characters in IV Apocalypse?"
Most of these choices are based on what I think is amusing, though some of them do have a bit more thought put into them. There will be some minor Fire Emblem spoilers, so I'm putting this in folders.

Peallaidh:
I saw someone point out that this is actually the first time he's ever been in 3D and I thought, "Naw, that can't be right. Surely he was in Soul Hackers 2 or Raidou and people just forgot because it was Soul Hackers 2 or Raidou", but no they were right, Vengeance is indeed "can't clean me bro"'s three-dimensional debut.
Amabie tomorrow, I think
Song of the SirensPeallaidh's unique attack looks pretty cool!
Can't wait to see what they show about Amabie tomorrow. The screenshot that's been shown of what I assume to be her unique move seems to be idol-themed, which tracks given her dialogue about wanting to be an idol.
If they are dipping that far... man I would love for them to bring in like the Demons from Digital Devil Saga. Just like Varuna, Dyaus and Vayu as demons whole sale.
Holy Sweet YHVH finally done with the Monolith. Possibly the most enormous video game dungeon I've ever endured. The bosses were surprisingly easy, though; they have no counters to being de-buffed into nothing.
IDK, the sewers in DDS taken together is fucking huge.
@Memers: Nahobino's new form already looking a Bit like Varuna makes think an HD remaster of DDS is more likely then lifting those Demons wholesale.
Watch SymphogearInb4 we get a fight with all five members of the Embryon as this game's Superboss DLC.
Persona has been adding old personas to the game for a while now. P 3 R has all of P5's personas and a few from P4 that were DLC in P5, for example.
Seeing old Demon party members that have never appeared again added as just random demons would be akin to that.
Speaking of Jack Frost, there's a tweet from the official Shin Megami Tensei account where Doi Masayuki provides commentary on the design of Nahobeeho. He mentions that a Jack Frost modeled after the protagonist has never appeared in one of the "numbered Megaten works" before, so Nahobeeho is a first.
Now I'm a little sad we never got a Hee-Ho-Shura.
Think the closest we've came to having a protaganist-themed Jack Frost variant in a mainline game before now was Demonee-Ho... and Strange Journey's status as a mainline game is questionable (I personally count it, but also know that's not a universal opinion).
Will the transhumanist future have catgirls? Does Japan still exist? Well, there is your answer. — UnknownAmabie:
So Amabie is an Enigma, a race that wasn't in the original V, and the footage seems to indicate that it's fusion accident-exclusive. I only saw a fusion accident once in my playthrough of V so I hope there's a miracle that facilitates them this time. Amabie's unique spell looks like it's a combination of Amrita and Dekunda.
The next demon is Artemis, so they are going to use base V's DLC roster to pad out the video count.
Oh boy, if Enigmas only show up in fusion accidents, I really hope there is a way to guarantee fusion accidents to happen.
I still think that the accident-exclusive demons in Shin Megami Tensei IV were more tedious to find than the 1/256 Fiends.
There's a part of me that really, really hopes that Nahobeeho has a unique move called "Murakuho."
Glasya-Labolas is the next demon to be featured.
