The Massive Multi-Fandom RPG: Season 2

Maria landed and transformed back into robot mode to see Egg Fighters around her, and ones powered by a very familiar gas. Maria looked at the image of Robotnik, and then thought about it for a while.

"This doesn't make sense..." Maria said to herself. "Why would he have Meta Infected minions but not be infected himself?"

Dracula continued to get status reports of the new territory of Eggmanland, and frowned when the Egg Fighters started appearing. He called forth the female Axe Armor

"Fortify the boundaries in our claimed section of the City." Dracula said, "If you see someone who isn't one of our minions or allies in our land... kill and recruit them."

"Understood, my liege," The Axe Armor leader bowed politely and left to tell the rest of Dracula's Army. This 'Eggman' worried him, now.

"Ah, look at those," Larfleeze said, looking at all the giant robots, including the ones with chainsaw swords, "more trinkets for my treasure hoard...."

"Do we attack immediately or wait until the others have dealt with them first?" Sayd asked.

"I want to take the initiative this time," Larfleeze said, "PROVE to those heroes the true might of the Orange Light....." he smiled evilly....

He flew towards Eggmanland with greater speed, the Egg Fighter staring up in shock and awe at the giant floating crocodile whale flying straight towards them, followed by nearly hundreds of THOUSANDS of what looked like orange ghosts!

Larfleeze transformed into robot mode, and streaked forth towards the first line of Egg Fighters, creating Orange Construct axes in each hands as he divebombed the park -

CHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGE!!!!! Larfleeze cried out. He slashed the first two Meta-Infected Egg Fightesr in two, followed by the insane number of Orange constructs following him like a swarm of hungry towards a dieing whale, relentlessly attacking and destroying any and all robots in their path as they bring destruction upon the Carnival from Hell....

"Anyone listening on this frequency, a little help is appreciated... Hey, get back!"

Spriggan fired the machine gun arm at some Egg Fighters trying to ambush him by trying to attack his legs.

"Heh, got you..."

Oh, great idea, Shirou! Subaru smiled up at her friend- and then realised what she was doing and blushed, quickly looking down again, picking at one of the welds on Mach Caliber's knee armour. Jeeze, why was I staring at him like that? He must think I'm so weird...

The army made up of blue, brown, green, and red minions started to move forward. The overlord transformed where he was and landed in front of the advancing army. He pulled his sword out and proceed into the carnival. The forty browns he had sent for energon finally arrive back at the tower. The greens kept following the clones while invisible and had said earlier that they were going to protect them. Twenty brown minions, fifteen greens, ten reds, and twelve blues surged from the army to help Spriggan.

Robotnik gave Spriggan a sarcastically hurt expression. "Why, whatever do you mean, my good man? These robots are merely my personal security, here to ensure that you all have a wonderful time at - "

He was cut off by the sound of several of his egg fighters getting pummeled into scrap, courtesy of Hito-Shura, Spriggan, Frankenstein, Rai, Harima, and Larfleeze. "HEY!!!" His face filled the screens for a moment. "THOSE WERE PERFECTLY GOOD...... *ahem*" He backed away, brushing his mustache with one hand. "Now, look what you just did! I was merely asserting my right to defending my territory from invaders, seeing as I own this place... and you lot go and wreck some of my machines, just like that. You do realize......"

The remaining egg fighters all brandished their weapons, purple gas still seeping out of cracks in their mechanical bodies. More appeared from hidden hatches and doorways to augment their already-sheer numbers.

"......that now I'm perfectly justified in letting my robots attack you now?" Mad laughter echoed throughout Eggmanland as the video feed promptly cut.

Meta-Fueled

Egg Fighters

The assorted egg fighters charged at the invaders, weapons raised. Meanwhile, Missile turrets stationed all around Eggmanland hummed to life, turning around and opening fire on Larfleeze, Sayd, and his constructs. For some reason, the missiles were fueled with Meta as well; they wouldn't affect Larfleeze and Sayd like they did the previous infected beings, but they would most certainly hurt...

"Oh, Nanoha!" Fate said gleefully, smile ever wide; she seemingly completely forgot about Eggmanland and turned back to Shirou and Subaru's mech, hands around her waist. "I love her!! Yeah, she kinda shot me down when I wouldn't listen, but she did that 'cause she loved me! After that, we became really, reeeeeally good friends and all, and...... and......"

Fate's red optics flickered; she stumbled about, her expression slowly turning confused. "......Wh... What? What was I talking about again?..."

Bardiche's posture jerked to attention. "Lady Subaru, Sir Shirou, I think the effects of the impure energon are starting to wear off."

Subaru sighed with relief at Bardiche's announcement. "Than goodness for that... I was-"

"Buddy, a transmission from Mr Spriggan."

"Huh?" She jumped up and climbed back to the cockpit to grab her headset. "Uh, Subaru here," she said. "Say again, spriggan?"

Crona facepalmed as he/she looked over at the attacking "heroes" and let out an annoyed sigh. "Even I know that attacking first is a dumb thing in this kind of situation. They had to go and ruin everything didn't they? Maybe I am better off with Lady Medusa." He/She says.

"Fuck off you geezer! You're also giving us a justification to defend ourselves!"

Battle in.

Spriggan raised his left arm, which turned into a multi-barrel grenade launcher. The TGS operative got on his radio again and shouted while firing several HE grenades at the incoming Egg Fighters.

"I say again! We're under attack by meta-fueled Egg Fighters with missile turrets on the side! Requesting immediate assistance!"

Shirou jumped to his feet, shifting into Belerophon mode. "Shirou here. We're on our way." Flapping his wings to lift off the ground, Shirou glanced at the two girls. "Fate, are you okay to fly on your own? One of us can carry you if you're not feeling well, but we have to hurry."

The minions found Spriggan and took a defensive position around him. The brown charged the machines while the reds threw fireballs. The greens went around or jumped on a robot that got to close.

"You and me both, kiddo. Let's find a way around this mess...Maybe we can sneak in the back." Braig said to Crona.

"I think I like that idea more." Crona says, nodding to Braig and flying over towards him and away from all the violence.

Sayd transformed to robot mode and created green construct bubble to protect herself while Larfleeze sent out sharp Orange Energy lance that pierced the missiles and exploding them. Despite man constrcut becoming destroyed, more quickly took their place and swarmed the missiles turrets, tearing them off the hinges and to pieces.

Larfleeze jumped into the thick of battle and destroyed Egg Fighter left and right with insane delight, enjoying himself immensely despite not gaining a sngle new construct. Meanwhile Sayd used her telekinesis to throw the missiles either back toward the turrets that shot them or into the Meta Egg Fighters.

Robotnik could easily see the energies both Larfleeze and Sayd gave off where both VERY different from anything he had seen before and VERY powerful as well, possibly rivaling that of the Chaos Emeralds themselves.....

Subaru was strapped into her cockpit chair, but hadn't taken off yet. Mach Caliber stood beside Fate, holding the robot-girl steady.

"Bardiche, do you think she'll be able to fight?"

BLAM! BLAM! BLAM! Three well-aimed plasma strikes knocked against the sides of the Egg Fighters. Zim was charging in, with a plasma cannon in his hand.

"Ugh, you idiots!" Jack shouted while attempting to smash one of the Fighters' heads in with the Warhammer. "We could have just tried to explain this, or you know, stayed the fuck away from the obvious fucking trap." He sighed, and continued to try and crush the Fighters.

"H......Huh? Mr. Emiya?... What are you?..." It seemed that unlike human alcoholic beverages, inebriating energon types did not have a 'hangover' phase, and Fate was quickly recovering from her stupor. "......What's going on?..."

Robotnik had his hand on his chin once more, deep in thought. "Curious, indeed...... my egg fighters seem...... tougher than usual. Not that I'm complaining or anything, but... if Dark Gaia force isn't powering them right now, then what is?..."

"Alert!! Alert!!" Orbot chimed in, his thin arms flailing. "Unknown energy source detected via the command center's ventilation shafts!!"

Robotnik's eyes behind his pince-nez glasses shot open. "What?! Close the vents, quick, before it - "

The command center was promptly flooded with a torrent of purple mist......

Maria thought for a moment and decided to follow Braig and Crona.

Dracula continued to get reports from Eggmanland in that the robots seemed to be infected with the same stuff as those two warriors were, and that it is called Meta.

"Hmm, if this gas that causes insanity... this 'Meta' can be harnessed, then it can be controlled," Dracula said to himself. "And he who can control the Meta can control the City."

Dracula decided that he needed to find some way to harness the Meta.

"Better tell that to the others like Harima for instance, Jack..."

Spriggan told Jack.

What the hell are demons doing here? He then spotted the Overlord nearby.

"We need to move and find Robotnik ASAP!" Spriggan took aim at a mass of Egg Fighters and fired a HE grenade round at them, taking several of them out of commission.

Shirou saw that Fate was no longer intoxicated, and he froze in midair so as not to leave the girls behind. "We can explain later, Fate. Right now, everyone else is fighting today's Infected enemy. Subaru and I don't know who they are, but they're inside that." he said, nodded toward Eggmanland.

"Let's go!" Shirou said, preparing to speed off toward the battle.

Subaru nodded, closing Mach Caliber's cockpit. "Stay close behind me, Fate, until you get your bearings, OK?" With that, her mech broke into a run. Mid-step its legs flipped up, the jets on its feet igniting, as the robot transformed into jet mode.

As she sped after Shirou, keeping an eye on Fate behind her, she felt a pang of dissapointment - their happy, peaceful moment had been ruined.

When the carnival appeared, Ghor had calmly and cautiously followed the rest of the group towards Eggmanland.

As the robots attacked, he carefully stayed behind the rest of the group, and scanned the machines.

Detecting weaknesses... aha! he thought triumphantly.

"Target their undersides and backs where possible! They're not as protected in those areas!" he said, calling to the group.

He then began to scan the carnival itself, and it wasn't long before he snapped open his holographic display.

Locating... AHA! My back-up generator, somewhere in this carnival...!

"Friends, I require a pathway into the carnival! Can you open a hole in their defences big enough for me to get through?"

Spriggan heard Ghor's request from the back.

"No problem, Ghor! Just reloaded my grenade launcher. Infiltrate the place when you can. Some of our comrades went in. We need to locate someone named Robotnik!"

He then fired the weapon from left to right at additional incoming Egg Fighters.

"GO! GO! GO!"

"Of course..." he said, using the blaze of flame and gunfire to avoid detection by the Egg Fighters. He kept running, when several turrets popped open and started opening fire on him.

Oh, for the love of Garik's name! he thought, sighing as he jumped out of the way and hid around a corner. He quickly peeked out to scan the devices, trying to locate any weaknesses...

"Aha! Anyone here got some sort of Electro-Magnetic attacks? It should disable the turrets and fighters en-masse! Yikes!" he called out, before quickly ducking out of the way of more gunfire.

I do hate being unable to fight back, gah... soon, though. My Back-up is somewhere in this... this CIRCUS, but I get the feeling something else of mine might be here as well.
