So is this gonna be the "In G Major" meme's replacement?
You can't even write racist abuse in excrement on somebody's car without the politically correct brigade jumping down your throat! Here's a portion of Ke$ha's "Tik Tok", stretched by a factor of 15.

I read about and downloaded this yesterday, but only today did I actually sit down and listen to it. Um, wow.
On a side note, I even sort of like that the "Photon Wave Orchestra" trolling got so far as making a last fm page.
Someone slow down Black Sabbath's self-titled track by 800%.
Swordsman Troper — Reclaiming The Blade — WatchIt's not hard to make a Last.fm artist page.
Anyway, this sounds interesting at first but then gradually gets duller and duller until I start skipping the song at intervals- oh wait, it does sound like Sigur Ros! :o
(That said, approximately 800 times better than Beaver)
http://www.last.fm/user/BlueGhost60I want to hear me some Lady Gaga slowed down 800%.
Like the night my girl went away, gone off in a world filled with stuffI don't hear the sonic resemblance, to be honest. But I'm not a regular Sigur Ros listener.
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....As someone who has a last.fm artist page, I know this. I was just amused at it's existence and the bio for some reason.

That was...actually pretty cool. Kinda haunting and ethereal, you know?
We have a natural right to make use of our pens as of our tongue, at our peril, risk and hazard. ~Voltairewant to hear me some Lady Gaga slowed down 800%.
Even slowed down, it's obvious which song it is.

So, if I sped up a Gas track to 800%, I'd get Britney Spears shitty pop artist that's not dead to everyone, err, Avril Lavigne?
Meh, I guess it'd make for some incredibly annoying happy hardcore.

^^ OH YES.
I want more of this.
Like the night my girl went away, gone off in a world filled with stuffSo I spent some time playing around with the PaulStretch program and managed to create this and thought it sounded pretty sweet.
It's about 15 minutes long, I had to edit it down because I think my connection would explode if I tried to upload a 30+ minute sound file. Give it a listen and see if you can recognize the original song.
I really like the way the program makes drum beats sound like whooshy wind/ocean sounds.
Like the night my girl went away, gone off in a world filled with stuffWow. All I can say is... wow.
I have to try this now! =D
Also, it can't replace the G Major meme because it inflicts pretty much the opposite of Ear Rape. =D

xexyzl: Okay, I take my statement back. D:
Out of sight... out of mind... out of hope, and out of time...Cirno's Perfect Math Class slowed down 20x sounds like the soundtrack to a horror movie.
Just ask Korgmeister.

I decided to stretch "You Suffer" by Napalm Death to about 4 minutes... The original song is under 2 seconds long and has the Guinness record for shortest recorded song. this is what happened, and this is what the original song was like.
Caramelldansen actually sounds pretty good slowed down 800%.
I heard the original thing on another website. I don’t know Justin Bieber from a hole in the ground *, but I thought that slowed down thing kind of sounded like Tangerine Dream.
Naturally, that had me taking this meme in a different direction †. Here’s Tangerine Dream’s Rubycon, the entire album, compressed into three minutes and fifty two seconds.
Weirdly, it starts off kind of sounding like 50s "exotica" music. I was having Les Baxter flashbacks at the start of this!

Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!And now, Mike Oldfield’s entire Tubular Bells album compressed into five minutes and 26 seconds.
Confirmed Bachelors: the dramedy hit of 1883!Holy shit, someone besides me knows who Les Baxter is!
As for your things, I have to say I'm skeptical of the first one being exactly 800% sped up, it'd have to be a quite short album, wouldn't it?

I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....
^ That's because whoever did it used Audacity.
