You know what genre of music we haven't seen much of in the anime? Rap/hip-hop. The only example I can think of is Joseph's theme from Part 2. I think rap would be a fitting genre for Part 6, whether for the OP or just straight-up as Jolyne's theme.

Obviously, country music would be most fitting for Part 7.

Oh yeah, I guess that does count. It's not really a major song, though, it's only in two scenes. The former scene is a meme, and the latter scene is just a nod to the former.

Huh, I didn't even realize that he was listening to the same song there. Still though, not really all that major.

If it were up to me, every single Stand in Part 9 would have a hip-hop, rap, r&b, or Jazz influence. And the Jo Jo's Stand would be "X Gon Give it To Ya" and fuck it, it takes place in America and the Jo Jo is black.

How would a Japanese dude be related to an American guy? Both the original and SBR continuities have found a way. You could even make Joseph have some "adventures" again...

I believe it was stated somewhere that it could, but I'm not certain.

Would certainly explain why Dio made it a point to recruit him and make him loyal, if he wasn't going to just kill him outright.

Dio also recruited a baby that could attack you in your dreams.

Stands were a new thing, he wanted to play with his toys.

What happened to the baby, anyway? They were in the middle of the desert and the baby disappears next episode.

Pretty sure they took it somewhere safe (only Kakyoin knew it was a threat, and he pretty much won that fight).

Plus, poor kid was probably doing his best to wash the shit out of his mouth.

Jolyne Kujo is extra super dead. Part VIII equivalent Jotaro is a lady and/or Yoshikage Kira. The lady might be dead. Kira is functionally dead.

Assuming the Higashikata's family tree for the Joestar line only covers the first born children, Joseph or Holly could have a sibling in this universe who went off to...literally anywhere. Back to the USA, to Sweden, to Malaysia (Johan Joestar anyone?), etc.

Alternatively Part 9 could be another reboot starting Jordon Joestar in the even more alternate 1880's.
