@Windleapord:Reuben played a Metal Hero in B-Fighter Kabuto, which is the original Japanese counterpart to Beetleborgs Metallix.

I put the tiers of the main villains, based on the statements that Urizen is stronger than Mundus, while Argosax is almost at his level.
Sin Dt Vergil > Urizen > Mundus > Argosax > Abigail > Savior > Sanctus > Arkham
—-
If they confirm that despite everything, Dante is still inferior to Sparda.
Mundus > Argosax? > Sin Dt Vergil > Urizen > Argosax? > Abigail > Savior > Sanctus > Arkham

Yeah I thought Itsuno said Urizen is the strongest villain introduced yet.
35 year old white man.He was indeed on Mundus level before eating the fruit.
Plus Spards power continued to grow that he sealed it away, so Dante not being as strong as his dad doesn't change that. Because his dad just got stronger over time, even after sealing Mundus away.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Ya know at first I thought a Vergil DLC could showcase his rise to Hell's Emperor until I found it out it was specifically Urizen who conquered Hell. So that won't work unless Vergil didn't turn into Urizen immediately after he split himself as the V's birth cutscene indicates.
So now I'm assuming a Vergil DLC can be about what happened to him after he was freed from being Nelo Angelo though then again he doesn't have Yamato at that point.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."So in the Nico files it mentioned Sparda split his powers into three swords. And now wonder when he put his sons in Eva if that spilt his powers even more
35 year old white man.Considering Mundus will still be alive, I bet you that hes coming back stronger than he was before.
He'll see what Mistakes Vergil made as Urizen and avoid them.
Maybe if the tree is still fallen down somewhere, he might use the whole tree as a substitute for the fruit since it's been eaten already.
Watch SymphogearYes I did it, I finished the game. It was totally fucking dope.
Though Goddamn the last 2 levels utterly kicked my ass. I had to use the gold orb multiple times rendering me with a D score on both fights. Man I fucking suck.
Also The Stinger with Lady & Trish is a Sequel Hook if I ever saw one. Plus its sweet that Dante's friendship with Morrison is so close he's willing to entrust him with the deed to the building, especially to keep it from the girls.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Those last fights are a real kicker huh?
I too have just finished the game. While I'm not quite sure whether it or 3 is my personal favorite, this game more than deserves all the praise in the world. Capcom once again proved why they are the masters at the action genre as far as I'm concerned. For that matter, I', glad that they decided to not follow trends such as Open Worlds and RPG elements that other action games use these days, and instead decided to stick to the tried and true DMC formula, cause that's really all one needs. No frills or extra fat, just pure action. Hopefully, other action games will take notice.
Now how exactly Platinum Games intends to follow this game up with Astral Chain and Bayonetta 3 I have no idea, because DMCV set a really high bar. Especially given that it came from the company they split off from.

I guess Itsuno's the one laughing now, Kamiya.
You got that right. Your move Kamiya and Platinum.
Also, I just realized something rather random. We've got a character who is effectively the "good" side of a person made flesh, is fighting against the evil side made flesh, and also attacks by summoning creatures and uses other magic. Am I talking about V or Lana from Hyrule Warriors?
Many Kingdom Hearts references have been made.
And yeah, Devil May Cry and the Character Action genre belong to Itsuno now. Kamiya might have started it, and Kamiya might have carried on making a ton of games within it, but he's Stan Lee to Itsuno's Chris Claremont (if we're using X-Men analogies) at this point.
Devil May Cry 5 is the best game within the genre, by miles.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."I'd argue that V isn't really the "good" one. He's just Vergil's humanity along with all of the traits that Vergil resented in himself and believed made him weak. The irony is that those same traits are, according to Dante, the true source of strength. V's literally falling apart since he has almost no resistance to Mundus' corruption, but he still manages to persevere while relying on Vergil's own nightmares. Urizen by contrast is physically powerful but lacks the emotional maturity and willpower to win against Dante even after eating that fruit.
Disgusted, but not surprisedYa know if that Scalebound game Kamiya was working on really does get saved by Nintendo they’d have redesign its protagonist Drew cause he looks too much like Nero.
Man that’s really mean when they say the true powers inside you.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."It's heavily hinted if not outright stated that V's reason for joining back up with Urizen was not to save the world, but to beat Dante.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."V's priority was saving the world since he threw Dante and Nero at Urizen pretty much as soon as he spawned hoping to minimize the whole Qliphoth fiasco, but there's also a big recomplete self and not die element motivating him there too. Of course Vergil not giving a shit about stopping the tree until Nero kicks his teeth in really shows how much the Urizen side plays in his personality.

Well, it is implied that V regrets many of the things he did, but he also clearly wanted to whup his own brother more.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."In spite of everything that’s happened, even being split into separate individuals, Vergil’s innate desire to prove his superiority over his brother is absolute.
Though shit Vergil at least take pride in having a child. That’s one victory you have over Dante........ as far as we know. Nero being genuinly strong is a bonus.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I'm still headcanoning Dante having a daughter from his days as Tony Redgrave that he never found out about because he moved away and changed his name back to Dante.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."For some reason I found it funny that if Dante has a child, that child wants to be a rival to Nero (without knowing what this means in the grand scheme of things) but Nero immediately shots that idea down because he doesn't wanna be like his dad and uncle

¡PONLE QUE DIGA!:"¡HUMONGOSAURIO HASTA LA MUERTE!"It also helps that Nero is just not very competitive in general. Though he easily provoked so I guess you can a Rival out of him if you seriously offend him.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."That's the one thing V and Urizen have in common. They both want to one-up Dante. Vergil's competitiveness with Dante is something that transcends the whole human-demon inner conflict. It doesn't really go away either even after Nero slaps some sense into Dante and Vergil. It just gets downgraded from Cain and Abel levels to less murderous Sibling Rivalry.
Brothers, amirite?

Disgusted, but not surprisedI LOVE that the twins reconciled. It's a perfect ending point for their storyline.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."
Meh, the twins don't look alike in 4 or 5
