If the avatar doesn't point it out enough, Durarara has quickly become my favorite anime of the season. Anyway, enough blabber about me... onto the discussion! (A quick request, though, to avoid the light novel spoilers.)

I was a little disappointed that there was no Shizuo in Ep 10, but the mouse clicks of fire definitely off set that. And, of course, Celty was badass, as usual.

And the soundtrack is just pure awesome.

I repeat what I have said before.

Watched this series purely because it was made by the same people who did Baccano, one of my favourite series ever.

I was not disappointed. Episodes 9 and 10 were ridiculously awesome. And I think my new avatar makes it fairly obvious who my favourite character is.

It is quite difficult not to love Shizu-chan.

To be honest I think almost every single one of the characters in this show is pretty damn cool. Very much like Baccano, in fact.

Well, I say almost. Just like Dallas Genoard existed purely to be a dick and absorb all of the anti-awesome from the rest of the cast in Baccano, I reckon Namie Yagiri is well on her way towards filling that exact same role.

I didn't know of it previously. But it's apparently good enough to make Saeglopur change his avatar to something other than an album cover, so it must be good!

Very true. I had a three episode catch-up binge last night and was inspired.

Guess it's going on my list of anime to watch, then.

Pretty decent, if a bit on the slow side.

I'm really starting to love this one. The ensemble cast means it takes quite a while to get going, but turns out to be a major strength. Shizuo is awesomesauce, but my favourite part may be Selty and Shinra's dynamic. It's just adorable - in a quite screwed up way.

Yeah. Totally screwed up, yet adorable.

I also love the... Theme of the show. About all these strange things going on in a city. Of people bumping in to each other, of everyone having their own story...

I guess I should watch this too. Probably won't end up doing it, since there's so many anime that I've been meaning to watch that I've just kind of become paralyzed.

I've been halfway paying attention to it when my club's shown it (8 episodes so far). I'm not comfortable watching it, because they're showing fansubs of a legally-available series, but I still keep glancing up from my laptop.

In case it wasn't obvious, this was written by the author of Baccano and, well, there's no particular reason they can't take place in the same world.

Immortals, tons of style, Irish fey on horsebikes, alchemy, and weaponized 4chan? All things considered, sounds like a pretty cool 'verse. I still like Ken Akamatsu's better, though.

Which episode does this weaponized 4chan appear in?
