Setting: Martin Lorskill, mild-mannered accountant, is also CAPTAIN AMAZING, defender of Devinsburg!
One day, every radio and television blares to life! Captain Amazing's arch-nemesis, The Iron Cerebrum, is holding the city hostage! If he does not get ten million dollars by 5:30, he'll zap the city with his Tapioca ray, turning every car, building, and object into Tapioca.
Martin sees this, and is about to head out... when his boss dumps a pile of paperwork on his desk. "Forget him, that's Captain Amazing's job! We need all this done by 5:30... OR ELSE!
City in peril... but paperwork needs to be done...
HHHHHEEEEEELLLLLLLPPPPPP....
Scene 1: Sorting old client's files.
GOOD: Martin uses super-speed to quickly put all the files away.
AVERAGE: Martin slowly puts them away normally, as people are watching.
BAD: Files keep falling out of his hands, spilling all over the ground.
PASS: Martin puts away the last file, and sees he's still good for time.
FAIL: Martin puts away the last file, but accidentally knocks over the entire cabinet. His boss chews him out.
Scene 2: Martin has to calculate and balance out a very messed up file.
GOOD: Martin quickly balances the numbers
AVERAGE: Martin slowly types away at his calculator
BAD: Martin bangs his head at the numbers not adding up
PASS: Martin hits the '=' button, writes in the final number, and breathes a sigh of relief.
FAIL: Martin hits the '=' button, and his calculator explodes. He clutches his head in despair.
Scene 3: Martin has to type up several forms on the computer.
GOOD: Martin uses super-speed to type.
AVERAGE: Martin types normally.
BAD: The computer crashes, Mark bangs his head on the keyboard.
PASS: Mark saves the files, and his boss congratulates him on a job well done. Mark runs off.
FAIL: Mark sends the files, but the entire network shuts down. He runs off, rationalizing he can't do the work anyways.
Scene 4: Finally done all the work, Mark rips open his business suit, revealing his Captain Amazing suit underneath, and flies off to stop the Iron Cerebrum.
GOOD: Mark flies through the skyline at super speed.
AVERAGE: Mark flies through the skyline, nervous he won't reach the ray in time.
BAD: Mark keeps getting smacked by birds and lightning.
FAILURE: The Iron Cerebrum fires his ray. Mark, still in his business suit, is sitting in a pile of tapioca, as the citizens jeer and hiss Captain Amazing's name, furious he abandoned them.
BAD END: Captain Amazing gets to the Iron Cerebrum's ray, but sees that the city had caved in to his demands, and had given him the money. He flies back, followed by jeers and thrown garbage.
END: Captain Amazing gets to the Iron Cerebrum's ray, and is barely able to stop the countdown. Unfortunately, the Iron Cerebrum gets away. The city still hails him as a hero.
GOOD END: Captain Amazing gets to the ray, smashes the device, and captures the Iron Cerebrum. The city cheers their hero as the Iron Cerebrum is led away.
