Felix wasn't silent as an NPC in the original Golden Sun.
True, but even then he struck me as the quiet type. (Then again, I imagined Isaac in the second game as having Yugi's dub voice, so take that how you will.)
Also, actual violent conflict!

I guess it is.I should have picked Gordon Freeman...
LOL
There is glory for those who defy their fate.... Interesting juxtaposition here- two characters from the opposite ends of the Sliding Scale are facing off!
There is glory for those who defy their fate.Totally agree with you there, Mint. I always thought it would be cool if Batman and Haruhi faced off. The ultimate battle of Craxy Preparedness and Genre Saviness.
I AM A MAN!!!No offence, Trope Kira, but can you please tone down the godmodding? So far you've:
- Tried to control someone else's character. (Even if you did take it back.)
- Decided that you not only won a fight, but were actually in a position to do the "I'll let you live" thing, despite the fight seeming fairly close before that.
- Just claimed to have destroyed an object that it's been quite clearly established is indestructible.
Crap, sorry about that. Didn't know the thing was indestructible, I'll fix that. Also on the second complaint, it was a tie. He didn't win, since his opponent was alive, it wouldn't count to Travis as winning. (Yes, I know he let Shinobu and Holly Summers live, but that's Wouldn't Hit a Girl.) And he wants Kimimaro to live for another chance to fight him.
I AM A MAN!!!Is it physically possible to cut through Kimimaro's bones with a katana? I thought they were stronger than that.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffNormal bone is, contrary to anime psychics, really fucking hard to cut through (don't ask me how I know this... for your own good). However, katanas were specifically designed and crafted to slice THROUGH your oponent's body, including bones. So, probably, he can be cut with a katana.
Always touching and looking. Piss off.Kimimaro's bones are tougher than normal, though.
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffWait, where did the katana come from?
There is glory for those who defy their fate.To answer Bobby G's compalint, while yes, Kimimaro's bones are stronger, Travis carries a beam katana, a weapon that has cut through metal.
To answer Mint's question, Travis always carries that, it's from his universe.
I AM A MAN!!!Actually, I have a question on the reliving memory thing. Are they able to break free from that at any time?
I AM A MAN!!!Neh, I'll roll with it. Kimimaro underestimated Travis as a loud idiot and had never encountered a weapon as deadly as the beam katana before.
Yeah, I don't have a huge problem with this fight going that way, I just don't want it to happen every time Travis fights. Just give your opponent a chance to react before you declare yourself the winner is all I ask. Sorry if it sounded like I was mad at you before, it was more "try to do this differently next time" then "goddammit you suck so hard at roleplaying how could you do that".

I guess it is.Really, he didn't declare himself a winner, he was in a position where it could have gone at best a 60% chance of victory, but he wants a challenge, so he let Kimimaro live. I still haven't gotten an answer to my question. Dude, it's cool, I tend to G-mod sometimes. I'm still working at not doing it as often, and I've been succesful so far.

I AM A MAN!!!Just a quick request: My internet modem has died at home, so I have to post from the school computer lab in between my work hours and whenever it is open. If somebody does something to Kimimaro give me a day to get back online and reply.
What, about the hourglass? I think you can say you're done reliving the memory now. Ahiru was stuck to it for a day or so, but that's because her player was away.
I guess it is.Hey, I thought I was the one who was having his character be highly protective of Ahiru without really knowing why.

I guess it is.We can share. Right?

Don't get your hopes up, Ahiru will be Travis' Morality Pet in no time! Muuahahahahaahaha! Mine is an evil laugh.

I AM A MAN!!!We'll see about that.
Boom! Brain Buster! Ha ha! (Thanks to the No More Heroes wiki for how to describe the attack.)
