Agreed. However, I'm going to be away from the computer for a day or so, so that might be a problem. (I'll probably just have Ahiru zone out staring at the giant hourglass) I hope that everyone will chip in to handle anything that may come up in my absence.

There is glory for those who defy their fate.Sorry I was away yesterday.
I'm wondering how to bring Laharl back into the plot...
He was just there and silent the whole time, man. It happens a lot with these games.
My Blog thingI'm glad Raidou has a canonical reason to not be talkative. The rest of my life means there can be long stretches where Raidou just observes.
My Raidou fanfic. Read it?Any attempt to destroy/bother/poke the hourglass results in your character being forced to mentally relive the worst moments of their lives, by the way.
When our characters know each other better, they'll probably be able to use the Powerof Friendship to avoid being killed by the city's eventual destruction. For now, though...
There is glory for those who defy their fate.I know that. Better tell Kojirou, as he's looking to punch something.
My Blog thingMan, with all the private thoughts people are having, I totally should've picked Ivan or Sheba instead. (They can read minds.)
I guess it is.I'm thinking of writing that people can play up to two characters (not that I'd ever take on another character, because I'm too lazy.) Anyway, what do you think of this idea? I'm also considering that people wanting to play OCs will have to submit a short application to make sure that the OCs aren't Mary Sue s.
There is glory for those who defy their fate.Being able to have two characters would be interesting. I don't know if I'd do it either, but it would be fun. Though I kinda like the dynamic we have where each poster basically is one person, it would be a way to keep it fun if you get tired of the person you started with. Maybe keep it limited to one until the roleplay has gone on for a while.
I'm not sure how I feel about OCs. Maybe if they're from a fanfic you already wrote, but making new characters solely for this RP just seems wrong to me.

I guess it is.... And, again, you're right... ^_^ Perhaps you can only add another character after R Ping for two weeks?
There is glory for those who defy their fate. That'd probably work. Personally, I'd probably just play it by ear and wait until people feel it's time to do it and then allow it across the board, but setting it to a certain time works too.
I guess it is.Given the lack of color differentiation for text on the forum, I'd let it sit- too hard to differentiate between characters, not to mention you get too many characters and things get really unwieldly.
My Blog thingHow far is the internet cafe from the hourglass?
I guess it is.Does the Internet café have actual Internet access? What would happen if a character attempted to upload something to the Internet? What if they sent an email?
Welcome To TV Tropes | How To Write An Example | Text-Formatting Rules | List Of Shows That Need Summary | TV Tropes Forum | Know The StaffWhat if a character tried to access TV tropes from the cafe? Would the setting implode?
I would assume TV Tropes still exists, but this roleplay doesn't and it doesn't have any information on the works of fiction the RP characters come from. (Or, for extra Mind Screw points, it does.) Maybe the NP Cs have no concept of fiction? It would neatly avoid that whole question. If they do, we have to assume that no real-world fiction exists since we're allowing characters from anything into this.
I guess it is.TV Tropes exists in physical form as a large tower that looms over the city- in its rooms are information on every 'fictional' in the city, which the all-powerful 'Tropers' will occasionally release to the public if they want to really humiliate a fictional who's displeased them. The City's internet is kind of limited- the only websites that can be accessed with any reliability whatsoever are the characters' blogs, if they choose to start one.
The Internet Cafe is less than a block from the hourglass.
There is glory for those who defy their fate.Ah, here I come, wishing to ask a question that's already been answered.
- rubs hands* What fortune. I'm going to get started~

I guess it is.Sorry about this then, but I have to catch some Zs. If anyone want to bunny me to keep it running: Rincewind will follow you to the cafe, he won't eat anything but things made out of potatoes (because he can trust those) and if anything starts happening (people rushing in with guns, or the like) he will run away. Fast. But he will stick with you guys as long as noone starts fighting... Will try to come back on as early as I can tomorrow.
Join us in our quest to play all RPG video games! Moving on to disc 2 of Grandia!Amusing that Matrix should comment on Felix's voice being loud, given his status in the-game. Actually, in general you can assume that he's kind of quiet (though in this case he obviously wasn't).
I guess it is.Aftem's voice is like a medium-sized rock crashing into a granite slab. Interpret that however you will.
Always touching and looking. Piss off.
You should see some of my actual Play-by-Post RP Gs. The pace is best described as "glacial". So, no, not a problem.
