He's very important.

Shokugeki no Sanji is out. The only thing really notable about it is that Sanji looks hotter than hell in Tosh's art style.

That would get a lot of fan girls hot.

I really appreciate them doing quite a few of these. The one with Saiki, a bunch of different Jump girls and Erina eating together, Shokugeki no Sanji, etc.

Good thing to emphasize once again his cooking skills.

Speaking of Sanji's cooking, do you think we will see some of the special recipes he learned during the timeskip in this arc? So far, I only recall using one of them at the end of Punk Hazard to give energy back to everyone.

Sanji in the one-shot is the coolest I have seen him in a long while.

Makes me miss suave, sexy Sanji instead of we need to castrate him now Sanji.

Looks like a writer has been found for the live-action drama. No news on who the writer will be, but we'll probably receive an update on the drama by the end of this year.

I want to to see more of those recipes. Also imagine Sanji seeing what Kaido did to the land, I mean since he's a cook just imagine him thinking this is the biggest waste of food you can do.

Its funny how Sanji in Shokugeki's artstyle is just an older Takumi lol.

Well, in Whole Cake Island, aside before the marriage, Sanji's hormones have almost disappeared (I guess family-crew problems and cooking have this effect on him)... then they came back

Frank(l)y, I'm not a fan of this live-action idea, simply because I think One Piece is the kind of series that is better suit in a cartoony world, which is free from the laws of physics. I doubt many of the wacky elements would work as well in live action.

Yes, we haven't seen nothing yet, but in general I have this opinion when something animated receives a live-action adaptation, I might (hopefully) eat back my words

Yes, I hope Sanji, even after gettin his own arc, would still have some great moments in Wano (and a good fight too wouldn't hurt)

No one has any high hopes for this adaptation.

There is a more detailed Twitter post on the live-action update here. According to Oda himself, he was impressed that the writer loved One Piece.

After all, that series still in the script development stage, so we don’t know what will be done after this like casting, filming dates and locations, what visual effects companies will be involved, which network or streaming service will air it, what additions will be made to the plot, etc.

While I’m personally looking forward to hearing about the live-action adaptation, I’m sure that we’ll have more to talk about it and other news related to the series when it gets closer to Jump Festa this December. In the meantime, I'll post some more updates as they come in.

I think he's probably surprised due to the fact that One Piece took more time to get as popular in the West like Naruto. He once said he envied the fact that Kishomoto's show got recognition world wide.

An hour to talk about a chapter?! WOW!

Meanwhile barely twelve for the anime episode.

They recap the chapter, then go into their own thoughts. Between any digressions and the fact there's usually about four people, at least, discussing things, it can and does get long.

Didn't every crew member get a dedicated chapter like "The Nth" where N ∈ ℕ? I don't remember Jinbe getting one. Or mabye I forgot.

To date, Chopper, Robin, and Jimbei do not have "The Nth Person" chapters.

Zoro, Sanji, Franky, and Brook got theirs after their introductory arcs, Nami after Arlong, and Usopp after Enies Lobby.

Didn't Luffy mention that he would like at least 10 crew members once? Assuming that he isn't counting himself, that leaves at least one more person.

Also, I have seen one or two people speculating about Shanks's relation to the World Government. It does strike me as a bit odd that the Gorosei were apparently welcoming of him, not to mention that the Ace novels apparently say that he is the most mysterious of the Yonkou as well as being the hardest to find.

The way Luffy phrased and how the numbers are counting it means he's very unlikely to have been talking about himself. Zoro is "The 1st" Nami "The 2nd" Usopp "The 3rd" etc.

Heck, in that 21st anniversary interview, Oda said his original plan was for Luffy to gather ten people by around the 75th chapter (in the end the series was in the middle of the Arlong arc by the time of that milestone) and lampshaded the fact that twenty-one years later there's still only nine.

What I'm taking form that is that Jinbe is the 9th to Oda. Because again, a lot of people didn't get that, and there still going "He could die" but if that's how Oda is talking, the chances of Jinbe dying have plummeted from their already small chances anyway.
