Umm an autobiography for an image? (not sure if its fake or not) Why not someone just shooting a huge monster with a hand gun? (I don't like the trope name itself as well but yeah.)

Well, shit. Looks like we need to head over to TRS. I think this is one of those trope named after a work.

I think the work is named after the Doctor Who Quote. Or is it? Hmm.

It and the book are named after the same line.

Also, are we really going to start a page on an autobiography?

^ Its not an autobiography its a trope about "How people use Handguns vs Huge monsters while not calling for heavy weapons"

The book is an autobiography.

The book is: "Five Rounds Rapid!: The Autobiography of Nicholas Courtney, Doctor Who's Brigadier"

No, it's not named after a work. It's an actor's autobiography named after a famous quote of his character. Can we get back to the image?

An image depicting the cover of a work seems like a weird choice for a page image for an article that's not about a work. No image?

I don't think we could have anything that wasn't some sort of lampshade hanging.

Maybe a picture of a demon/monster/whatever being shot with (and not reacting to) mundane weapons? (As Raso suggested in OP.) /looks over examples

Pulling image, it's whack.

It wouldn't, exactly... there is a lot of overlap between Five Rounds Rapid, Immune to Bullets, and Shooting Superman.

Well I think there would have to be 2 images one of shooting the thing with a gun then using Applied Phlebotinum and showing it works.

[up] or a missile (FRR is supposedly about using small arms instead of the big guns)

edit: oh I was going off the Laconic, I see the meaning is unclear... help clarify?

Trolling the examples for ideas...

#432 of MS Paint Masterpieces conveys the idea, but it's a bit large for a page image.

A still image from one of the many Godzilla movies, where the Red Shirt Army is firing rockets at the giant lizard (ineffectually, of course), might work.

Or maybe a still from Monsters Vs Aliens, in the bit where The President tries to kill the giant alien robot thing with a handgun. "Eat lead!"

I'll see if my subconscious can come up with anything over the weekend.

Locking this thread since it's in Extreme Trope Repair right now. Dragonhawk you might want to copy your page image suggestions to that thread.
