Yeah, it's really spelled as "Nine Persons". Shouldn't it have been "Nine People"? Meh.

I'm starting to notice I only go to this forum to post demos and such. I haven't even visited that other topic I made.

I'll play this tomorrow.

A visual novel? In English? For the DS? That isn't Ace Attorney?

Cool. I'm interested.

Finally, a Chunsoft game coming out here that ISN'T a Fushigi no Dungeon clone. Oh, and it's one of their famous "sound novels", to boot. If this sells well, Aksys better license 428: Fusasareta Shibuya de for the US market!

Okay, I tried the demo.

How the heck you are supposed to open the suitcases?

And don't give same explanation as everyone seems to give: 'Look at those two piece of papers', I can't figure it fricking out from triangles and squares x-x;

Did you pick up anything else by the sink?

And, if you did, don't forget about the "search" function, for items. Speaking of which, that's a pretty poor name for that function. It really should be "examine". Maybe they'll fix that in the final game.. :x

Now, as for the game itself, it looks pretty neat. I'm looking forward to it, certainly. I'd like to think that, if this is something of a success, it might encourage someone to try releasing some more obscure games for the platform... Nanashi no Game comes to mind.

But that's really too much to hope for, probably. <_<

Technically you're supposed to use "persons" for a countable number of humans and "people" for an unspecified mass, but nowadays "people" is used exclusively outside of technical and legal language.

It's pretty wordy, even for a visual novel game. Not bad, though. It's like a less-insulting version of SAW, in a way.

The full game already has a thread, just so you know.

Definitely very wordy. And not particularly well written, either... I've always liked the idea of visual novels but none of them really feel like, well, a book. It's more like a direct narrative, which gets pretty silly after a while, because you feel they might as well animate the thing.
