You need a recommendation as well.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimAnd he just got a promotion!
And as I recall, Lorraine jumped several Knight grades within a year and this was considered highly unusual.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimAlso, there's a bit of Gameplay and Story Segregation here, if I recall, since otherwise you'd all be Uno Knights in a few battles.
I thought the kill count was a requirement to get promoted, not the ticket to one.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimIt was Spain who wrote it, not me, so I'm not sure. I'd assume it's as you say, though.
The way I imagined it is that Knighthood took the following:
Certain time in the military (Except Roxy)
Confirmed battlefield service, aka Kill Count (Except Roxy)
Recommendation of a superior Knight or higher ranking officer (Except Roxy)
Confirmed by Military Lord or higher ranking official
Take the Knight's Oath\\
Don't forget Hobbes. Hobbes is pretty awesome.
Ironically, though, I think Jaedog still has the highest kill count...
Well, given that you guys did about half of our first battle without me, and then I spent the second battle infiltrating the hijacked battleship instead of engaging in frame combat....
So really, Jaedong can keep his kill total. Hobbes captured a freakin' battleship on foot.
You keep track of the kill counts Wryte?
Nope.

When did lockon say he was working again? We've been running to our robots for a couple days now.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimOr maybe we parked on the otherside of the planet.
Or we parked in a handicap zone and they've all been impounded.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimRoxy sold them all so she could buy the latest DVD of her favorite magical girl show.

Locking you up on radar since '09^^ Good Lord, how much to DV Ds cost these days?
^ Entirely possible.
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimSomeone tried to get the shuttle off the ground...
-Pokes Lockon with a stick-
Obviously, she had to import them from Japan.
Which is on Earth.
The pirates raiding the shipments alone must cost a fortune.

Barnard's main economic boon is stealing goods from both sides and selling them to the other, since there's so little trade.
Actually, that might be canon.

But we took Japan with us when we left! We have a whole planet of Japan!
"What a century this week has been." - Seung Min KimWell, it would certainly make sense, Hydrall, being halfway from Centauri and Earth.
Currently it's on the wiki it has Mythril and mineral stocks, but the terraforming was a bit botched and looks like Gunsmoke.
It would make sense they'd squeeze the maximum profit from raids.Stealing and smuggling from both sides would also make them able augment their own tech with things of the two sides. And this could extend to third parties...

Uno knights require 20 years service though, and duos 15.
You do not need a recommendation to promote by kill count, you need one to promote ignoring kill count.
I'm working Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday, but you guys need to actually get on board the ship.
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Well, Earl's main motivation is pretty much social climbing.
To be promoted, he technically [unless he appeals to a commander to count his service as a pre-graduation Ensign on a loophole] has about a week of service in the actual military and only Seven kills to his name. He's on decent terms with the new commander so he'll mainly just be constantly applying once he qualifies.

Also could you have someone on the bridge fill Julia in on what's going on? :)
I do! Earl is at Six in Game, Seven out! Come on Promotion!
