I tried watching that the other day, and there was something really off about the pacing. It felt too fast to me, like the show was rushing to have the characters go through their lines as fast as possible.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.Thinking of watching Bubblegum Crisis when I'm done with the Digimon Adventure Tri movies. I know it was left unfinished, but then Bubblegum Crash was released to act as a conclusion. I know it's popular, but I'm not sure how good it is. I heard Crash wasn't as good as Crisis, but I don't know if that means its BAD.
I just found a video of a doctor watching Cells at Work.

I should rewatch Cowboy Bebop.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Has anyone see this documentary about Bleach? This guy goes into debunks many common myths about Bleach.

"Analay, an original fan character from a 2006 non canon comic. Do not steal!"So odd that it was really hard to find the last chapters of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. was pretty hard to find online. Had to rely on a Tumblr blog in the end.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."The pacing for Saiki K is that fast in Japanese.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.Do you like Feudal Japan? Do you like Lilo & Stitch? Well, here is the crossover you have never asked for.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieYeah, watched the anime too and the pacing really is pretty fast. Seems natural for the gag manga it is though.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."I felt like the earlier seasons were slower though.
A rose by any other name would smell as sweet Unless I grew it. In that case, throw it in the trash.Just read a manga called wake up sleeping beauty. It was short and I read it on spur of the moment but my God, it was so beautiful and made me cry happy and sad tears. I'm so happy I found this shoujo, really hope I can stumble across more great shoujo like this like I used to when I was younger
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysohayo ibara hime huh? Read the localized version in my country last year, it was great. The end was just beautiful
Anyone can give me a list of "Must Watch" Golgo 13 adaptations?
Because even as a devout follower of long-running titles, 50 years of uninterrupted publication (that's 195 volumes, btw) is a tad intimidating.
Apparently the localized edition from Viz is more of a classic hits edition.
As in it takes some of the more iconic arcs out of the actual hundreds & puts them in a couple dozen volumes.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I know there were 2 Golgo 13 OVAs, "The Professional" in 1983, and "Queen Bee," in 1998, then a 50 episode animated series from 2008. Oh, and there's also two live-action films from the 70s. Outside of a video game or two I think that's all the adaptations.
I watch all the music videos for Daft Punk's Discovery, that's kind of like watching an anime.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Netflix will be streaming 21 films from Studio Ghibli!
("Wait Joe, isn't HBO Max doing that?")
Ah yes, and that therein lies the rub. Netflix will be streaming them everywhere except USA, Canada, and Japan...
Hmmm.
Hey, the Angry Video Game Nerd keeps saying ExpressVPN is great for watching international versions of Netflix. Is it worth any of the asking prices?

Hah! For once Latin America can rub its superiority in the First World's face!
Leave Europe to gain Ghibli?
Not bad...
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."(*grumble grumble grumble*)
Lucky Latin Americans with their telenovelas and their cafe con leches and their being able to watch Ghibli on their Netflix before HBO Max even pops up...
I myself am considering ExpressVPN so I can finally watch these international Netflixes and their seemingly superior libraries.

Continuing my read of Seraph of the End, almost completely caught up.
Yu manages to take that trait of shonen leads, that they tend to be simple enough that they are easily manipulated to the zenith by admitting that he has no problems being treated like a literal tool by the most shady motherfuckers on the planet simply because he likes his manipulators & thinks of them as family.
And the fact he is 100% fully willing to go along with heir plans despite practically everyone telling him of the literal cataclysmic consequences of going along with these plans he just shrugs it off & goes “Nah I don’t care, cause family family family.”
I feel like this would be less annoying if Yu didn’t come across as a total brainless fucking moron. Like I don’t know where this habit of turning your protagonist into a gigantic dumbfuck with every memember of the cast advitvily calling him an idiot came from but it’s gotta stop.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I always assumed it was the same reason underdogs are popular. A character at the bottom- not rich, smart or well off but with a lot of heart so that people can relate to them more.
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boysI can see that, his simply buffoonery is clearly intended to be charming.
It’s just his behavior & actions makes him across as more a delusional 5 year old.
The fact everyone keeps telling him not to do something yet he does it anyway in a kinda uncaring breezy manner makes him come across as infantile like he’s a child no younger than 10.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."As with most popular tropes, some people just play it a tad too straight.
Honestly seraph of the end is weird, I gave up on it after the whole salt power thing
I absolutely cannot help but adore handsome 2D boys
Watched a chunk of The Disastrous Life of Saiki K. - Reawakened on Netflix with my mom and...
I don't want to say the new dub is bad, but watching it and the first season back to back is jarring and Kaido's new VA sounds off compared to his Funimation VA.
And they're STILL not dubbing seasons 2 and 3? That reeks of laziness...
(Nitpicks aside, it's actually pretty hilarious how Yumehara and Aiura have the same VAs as Rei Ayanami and Aqua, respectively.)
