Zelda and FF Fandumbs can fuck off. Who cares if the Fan Dumb rages (aside from people who get lulz out of watching it, though this would be good for them too)?

In fact, if it was me I'd ban the top 10 for being included for the next three years or so. That'd really make things interesting.

Im so sick of those character battles. These are supposed to prove what exactly, seeing how the tetris block won one time?

Ahh, the L-block victory was awesome.

Especially the rabid, RABID fanboys foaming at the mouth that four blocks beat out Cloud and Link. I recall one topic congratulating Link for winning the contest. When told L-block won, he said "L-Block isn't a character."

Also those people that complained that L-block winning would ruin the contest forever, with just as many people claiming that L-block's victory was actually the shot in the arm the contest needed to be interesting again.

That these things greatly increase site traffic (and subsequently ad revenue), so it's worth it to give away $1450 worth of prizes to those who successfully predict how these things go, obviously. <.<

And yes, the L-Block win was glorious. Doubt we'll see something like that in the one-on-one format, but one could always hope.

Yes! Red won! Don't really know either of the characters up now though. Guess I'll vote for X.

I'm pretty sure. Could be Price from the old WWII Infinity Ward Call Of Duty games, but I think it's the one who shot Zakhaev's arm off.

I gave up on taking the Character Battle as anything serious, so I just nominated joke characters◊.

Gamefaqs has a huge fanbase for franchises like Zelda and Final Fantasy, so it's obvious one of them will win, unless some obscure character wins simply because it makes people go "wtf". Really, the votes easily get biased whenever any character from these series enter the fray, simply because the fanbase on the site is huge.

As for me, I want TF 2 characters to win, simply because I'd rather see a humorous and overly hammy character winning instead of a whiny emo.

Damn, I really would have liked to see The Kid make it in.

I don't hate link, even though I'm not his biggest fan, he works just fine as he is. However, I am slightly idealistic, and I'd like that a Character Battle was won by, you know, a character.

I was only half serious, but that's fun with heroic mimes. You can imagine them to have any personality you want them to have.
