Ever since they officially become a couple Touko and Yuu are so cheesy and Sickeningly Sweethearts.

On the scene where Yuu briefly considers buying rings before snapping out of it, I was like "Yep, this girl has read Citrus."

That reminds me, I picked up Urasekai Picnic a while ago, though I haven't read it. It seems like it could be interesting - has anyone had a chance to look through it?

I'm hoping that Bloom Into You does something similar to what Citrus did at the end, specifically have the two girls marry each other. But with less melodrama than Citrus.

I've noticed that there are a crap ton of yaoi works that are violent, but not so much for yuri works. There are a lot of bloody, yandere, or Romanticized Abuse BL works. Killing Stalking (which is Korean but hush) is a prime example. I don't recall ever seeing a yuri work that was so graphic. The closest I can think of is this oneshot manga where a girl cuts another girl's eyes out, off-screen.

Happy Sugar Life is romanticized child abuse and yandere stuff. Well, maybe not "romanticized" per se, but.

Indeed, although the violence is almost all between the protagonists and antagonists; there's no violently abusive relationships between the main characters, if you don't count Chiyo occasionally going upside Kuroko's head for her skirt-chasing.

Worth noting the voice director and VA of Kase are LGBT.

Oh yeah. The second volume (Bento to Kase-san) just came out in France too. This series is still diabetes-inducingly cute… but also surprisingly sexy in a few scenes? Those kisses, man…

So Honkai Impact 3 has been releasing their first anime series, Cooking with Valkyries, for a few weeks now on their official youtube channel. Each episode focuses on specific characters of the series, using the dish of the episode as a springboard to explore something about them.

Anyway that was sweet indeed. Very Manaria Friends-esque. Though not quite with the same production values obviously.

That's really sweet they're getting their happy ending. If the anime gets a second season, I think it can tie things up nicely.

Definitely hope that Bloom Into You gets a second season.

Knowing that the series is about to conclude makes me feel a little sad, yet happy at the same time. Major props to Nakatani for such a great series.

…You know, back when I started this series I really didn't think it would go all the way like this − in a shonen magazine to boot.

This chapter made me feel… happy. Simply beautiful.

Could such a scene be adapted in anime though?

Maybe an OVA? When sex serves to enhance characterization and act as payoff, it would really be a shame if it never made it in animated form to some degree.

I also want to point out that Touko finally puts Rei's cheesecake recipe to good use!

Maria Sama Ga Miteru's anime turned 15. Some time ago it was mentioned that tbere's a special talk show with the voices airing in October and the first thirteen episodes are reairing on Niconico. I don't know if the anime adaptation ever finished the entire book series? If not, I'm still waiting on a new season that'll never come.
