There's Space Elves I think.
Dammit, don't we have an Elves In Space trope?

Fight smart, not fair.It appears that we do not have an elves in space trope, probably should be one... since there are definitely more examples of it if you are this general... for example, the warhammer 40K space elves.
Also, in retrospect, a better name would be "Psychic Blue Space Elf Sexy Matriarchy", which would be a subtrope of "space-elves" and "green space babes"

We should have a Space Elves trope just for the sake of having it, but the OP's idea is just too specific to really be tropable.
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important.I think we could count Vulcans for space elves couldn't we? Off to YKTTW!
Fight smart, not fair.rallyfan 9000: whether it is The Same But More Specific or a legitimate Sub-Trope is what this thread is trying to discover.
Besides, it isn't MY idea, it is a reoccurring theme in several works and fictional universes. The reason it is so specific is because they are all referencing each other (they call it "homage")
You are also focusing too much on the "elf" part (pointy ears, thats it), them having pointy ears is their LEAST distinguishable trait. And aside from pointy ears, they share nothing with any elf mythos.
Regardless, whether it is decided that it qualifies as a Sub Trope or whether it is merely a few similar cases of the "space elves" trope is what we should seek to qualify here.

Vulcans are also long-lived, vegetarian, and consider their way of life superior to humans'. There are already Vulcan examples in Can't Argue with Elves and I think they do belong there.

There's also the asari from Mass Effect. They also fit the scheme. Female, Blue, Space, Psychic, somewhat elfish.
After listening to the dicks, pussies and assholes monologue in Team America, I could think about one thing only: "You are what you eat."Not from a matriarchy or a female-dominated race, but other than that, Mira Nova from Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command fits the bill perfectly.
There's Blue-Skinned Space Babe, which is currently a redirect since it's a Palette Swap of Green-Skinned Space Babe.
Incidentally, my friends and I always tend to refer to Green Skinned Space Babes as "blue hotties", since in our experience, they're more likely to be blue than green (at least in more recent media). Possibly because of the "little green men" stigma about SF, and the fact that green skin is more likely than blue to look like you have a horrible fungal infection in visual media.
Even so, the OP's suggestion does seem too specific.

I refer to "blue space babes" on occasion.
That said, I can see why "space elf" might merit its own trope.
Have we got "Space Elves" in YKTTW yet?
I am a proud member of the Western Federation's Anti-Japan Media Task Force. My work is very important.Saw that there might be a niche for the "Space Elf" as a trope, so I started a YKTTW based on that.

Another example would be the N'avi from Avatar, although they're also 10 feet tall.
I didn't see this thread before, but Wyvernil's ykttw mentioned above got subsumed into a ykttw for a separate trope called Proud Scholar Race Guy, which got launched in competition with Space Elves. We still need a trope for Space Elves in general.
So I started a new ykttw for "Space Elves (supertrope)" and it has hardly any replies - so few that I can't Just Launch It Already!
If you can, please check it out.

I am wondering if that is actually a trope or not.. I can think of 3 cases off the top of my head, but if there are only 3 examples then its not really a trope...
They are psychic, blue skinned, extra terrestrial species, that looks like elves (humans with elf ears), and are a female dominated society (typically females either greatly outnumber males, or are the only ones endowed with psychic powers, or have stronger psychic powers.
Examples: 1. The Elerians from the orion games (2 and 3, not found in MOO 1). 2. The Syreen from the Star Control series of games. 3. The loroi from the webcomic outsiders http://well-of-souls.com/outsider/index.html
If there are more, then this could be a much more specific subtrope of green space babe. So, anyone knows of more instances where they show up?
