Claymore Manga/Anime

As it stands at present, this is one of the best mangas out there. And it will be exciting to see how the story ends. With any luck it will not drag on like Naruto and Bleach. Both are exceptional don't get me wrong. But the filler episodes in these two make me sick sometimes, and discourage me from having a larger collection of manga and anime episodes.

I pray it does not exceed 200 episodes. That's just too long unless Norihiro Yagi intends to push the story off the island, and into the real world where the real war is going on outside the laboratory. That would probably not happen though. Because at present, avenging Teresa is the linchpin that's gonna finish or continue the story. As is stands now, Clare has sensed Priscilla, and they'll either fight next issue, or they'll both head after Raki to save him. But that might be a while since Beth is still alive, and Riful and Duff.

I've never seen a manga where so many bad guys got their butts handed to them in so short a time. It's actually made me like the Manga more because at least there's no immediate danger of filler episode unless Norihiro hasn't decided on a way to conclude his epic manga. Most likely Raki will become a Claymore, and depending on if he's controlled, it might be wise to keep Riful around. It would be nice if she became a good guy. I wished Isley hadn't died, but it would be too much trouble to have so many villains in one manga all at once. With Isley gone, the story at least is progressing. The question is what happens next, I loath waiting a month for each issue. Wish I could help Norihiro with his comic so it could be weekly or even biweekly. But I know being a writer myself how tough it is to write a story, and even tougher to illustrate it. Cause a pictures worth a thousand words. (edit, sorry about the wall of text).

Wow. Don't get me wrong, I like that idea of having a Claymore thread here. But wah, that's a wall of text.

Riful's my favorite character. Isley knocked her off the top, but he's dead now.

So what are our opinions on the Rafaela-Luciela fiasco?

If you mean "your opinion," of the fiasco my answer is this. The destroyer as they are called by the organization will either die down, be killed by the elite claymores, or will interrupt a fight between Priscilla and Clare. Either way we know the organization took Raki because the destroyers parasites do not affect him. Either way it's a nasty factory monster that will produce abyssal ones. With any luck they'll make some abyssal eaters that can eat it like they did Isley and were doing to Riful.

Meh...They will probobly have Priccila crush it, or else have Isley come back from the dead to shoot it with arrows [Isley FTW!], or a more wacky theory, the DRAGONS could come and torch it. [Remember that the other side has Dragons instead of Awakened beings.]

Possibly, At present Clare cannot awaken because Jean's will has suppressed it. I thought that was a nice touch. It means Clare has to keep her humanity and find another way to kill Priscilla. Or worse, she has to abandon that life's ambition to save Raki. I was worried she'd just follow the cliche "turn into the thing you hate," motif. With any luck the story will finally move to where they attack the organization and leave the island and then have to make it in the real world where technology and society is much older than medieval times.

It is awesome, the author seems to be in a really good shape. All I can say about what actually happens is "FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF-"

I only know that it's made by the same guy who did Angel Densetsu. And I liked Angel Densetsu.

Wow, um, and Clare doesn't even have a Healing Factor. What is that, bifurcation, impalement by several sharp spikes, etc. etc....

I can see something like Clare borrowing some flesh from the Rafaela/Luciela thing or something. Or at least.. I hope. Poor Clare ç__ç

...You know, I don't think I really registered how absurdly broken Priscilla was before...

Pricila is almost as broken as Jack Rakan. If you don't know who that is, he is the definition of an in-universe Game-Breaker. At least she is hurt by various attacks. Rakan's Made of Iron skin is so strong he usually just stands there.

So, apparently, Claire fused with the destroyer so she'd stand a chance against Princila. Huh.

Something like that. I just wish that that part had been shown. Also, remember that those two had a Battle in the Center of the Mind just a few "minutes" ago. I have to wonder who is in charge right now. It also gives Clare a easy way to regenerate/escape what with how much power the Destroyer has on hand.

I just hope she has a way to get back to normal..

I just hope she can deal with Prissy properly.

Anytways, why is Prissy so hell-bent oin killing her... or anyone else for that matter?

And I really hope Raki didn't get eaten. It would make Claymore such a Shoot the Shaggy Dog...

Holy shit. I mean, really, HOLY SHIT.

Am I the only one that gets the feeling that the mangaka is trying to wrap up the series and end it?

Oh and I forgot HOLY SHIT CLARE IS INSIDE THE DESTROYER! NO, ACTUALLY, LIKE SHE'S PART OF IT.... and I have the feeling she'll be beaten anyway >_>.

^^Raki did survive. We saw him being taken away by the Organization, remember? True, he DID have one of those spear-things stuck in him, but the Organization wants the spear alive so they would do all they can to keep him alive as well.

I don't think the series is wrapping up, but I do feel that the loose ends are being tied up a bit faster. Since the only real plot points remaining are Priscilla and the Organization, and Priscilla's death is the logical end point of the series, the story is likely about to shift focus over to the Organization and their plans.

There's still the entire thing about the war on the mainland.

^While that is true, if it is to become a major part of the story, it will probably be hinted at while they are dealing with the Organization.

Personally, I would not be surprised if the plot ended with the remaining Claymores choosing to protect the island and stay out of the war entirely.

Well, if the plot goes to the mainland we could see some Berserk levels of epic. I mean, DRAGONS.
