Animation Frames for Kyoko's Dragon Feet in "River City Girls".
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.So is Kobayashi any good? I noticed it came out.
Does anyone have any videos of the final boss for Stay Cool Kobayashi-San!?
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Spoiling the end of games right away is your thing, huh? I notice you ask about this for almost every game you're following on here.
With most games (Though not all, I like to be surprised sometimes), my highest priority is seeing the final boss. The final boss is my favorite part of Video Games.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.Wolfthunder activates autospeedrun.
I got my physical edition of River City Girls in. Came with a manual that gave tidbits on most of the side characters, and amusingly Kyoko and Misako are filed under the "Girlfriends" section sans context.
Plus a music CD! I love this game's soundtrack! I also have almost no means of listening to a music CD nowadays.
Still looking for one last Sabu statue. Goddamn.
I had to look up four Sabu statues myself. There's a few that are placed in just awkward spots. In particular, there are three that are in spots that can only be hit by jumping attacks, and only one at a time at that, and it's really easy to take too long and have penalty waves come at you while you're trying to break the damn things (particularly the one in the Sanwakai building by the elevator). There are a couple more that are tricky to spot due to being partly off-screen, but at least most of those can be easily reached and destroyed once you spot them.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.That statue that I find the most trolly is one of the downtown ones. As you said, it's not hard to reach once you spot it, but it's kind of dirty, but it's sitting on a fence that pushes the statue 90% off-screen. For extra hilarity, you can go right to the next screen, which gives a better view of that portion of the fence, such that the statue would be plainly visible, except it's not there on that screen.

That said, the one I hated the most was the one uptown that combines both "can only be hit by jumping attacks" and "is offscreen for the most part." ( Specifically, the one that, if you want it, is the only time in the game you need to wall jump.)
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.Bugger.
Guess I'll wait for that new game by Sumo Digital for my brawler goodness.
I'd totally be up for Kyoko and Misako as girlfriends. I mean, if the whole finding your boys thing doesn't work out...
Are you the one singing the credits song?

So guys, I wanted to ask; Would you say that Stay Cool, Kobayashi-san!: A River City Ransom Story is a Tough Act to Follow after River City Girls? 'Cuz that's what I'm starting to figure.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.No. It's just not a good game.
Which is why I want to label it as a Tough Act to Follow. Besides Melee Mach!!, it's the game that came after River City Girls, which received widespread acclaim and attention whereas Kobayashi-san was entirely forgotten about after its release and not very positive reviews if any.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.RCG is the tough act to follow because it set a new standard in animation, concept and sound design for the series. The appropriate thing would be to post as much on the RCG page and note that the follow ups compounded the problem by not being very good.
I think I'd rather wait to see what reception other games'll get, and if they'll also be comparatively lacking like what Melee Mach!! and Kobayashi-san got before listing River City Girls as the Tough Act to Follow. The way I see it, 2-3 games is a sign, 4-5 games is definite.
The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.It has been announced that Guilty Gear, BlazBlue, and the Kunio-kun series will receive a 2D-Platform Game Crossover with 8-Bit Sprites in Code Shifter.
Here's the trailer for it;
EDIT: The game will release on January 30th of this year.

The storm has now resided, the wolf now rests.*requisite grognard complaint that the sprites look more 16-bit than 8-bit*
Looks like fun, though part of me hopes it isn't solely leaning on goodwill from liking the crossover games.
Reminder: Offscreen Villainy does not count towards Complete Monster.I have no idea what's goin on?
Is the game 4-player co-op? If it is, I'm totally gettin it day 1.
Wayforward released an update to River City Girls which adds an alternate version of the normal ending if you beat Hasebe and Mami. I think they knew how the ending pissed off so many people. Here.
On the plus side, I did find some gameplay for Stay Cool Kobayashi-San!;
EDIT: Wow, the Not-Shocker Troops even sound like them.
