Does the game expand on Ichigo’s new Bankai at all?

Forever liveblogging the AvengersI don't think Ichigo would suddenly switch to the Wandenreich. Though that would have been an interesting AU if Yhwach had managed to successfully reeducate Ichigo like he initially wanted.
But I think Kubo had intended for Ichigo at some point to question his loyalties. The original sin is still a think and I'm not sure if Ichigo would be okay to fight so that the Soul King can suffer more. Not to mention that there was a point in the war, where it was Yhwach, who was fighting for Ichigo's sake, while Urahara, Ichibee and to a lesser extent Shunsui were going to backstab and sacrifice Ichigo for the sake of Soul Society.
If we go by the novels, then it seems that Kubo intended a situation where Hueco Mundo, Wandenreich, Xcution and Soul Society would actually enter a truce to fight a common enemy, resulting in an era of actual peace between the factions. While the novels used Tokinada for that, I think Kubo would have taken someone more grand for the task. Perhaps the OG Soul King and Urahara? One has to wonder how we would have found about the original sin or Ginjou's true backstory in the manga.
Pretty sure they did unite to fight Yhwach himself.
That wasn't much of an alliance though. The Sternritter, Fullbringer and Arrancar never interacted and immediately parted ways. There wasn't even much interaction between the groups and the Shinigami beyond Ichigo's group. The closest thing we had was the little friendship Renji and Rukia struck with the rouge Sternritter and Yukio dissing Ganju. Hell, the Fullbringer never even participated in the fights and the Wandenreich was not really involved.
Compare that to the conflict with Tokinada where all the factions fight together and have proper interactions and this time it also includes Sternritter loyal to the Wandenreich. Just from what happened in the blood war, it would be hard to imagine that any of the factions would actually want to enter a new era of peace and cooperation, which going by the novels is something that will happen.
Anyway, my point is, that the plot of the novels would have happened in the manga, just with someone else besides Tokinada and that it would have involved Ichigo. From what the novels and the manga gave us, the Soul King or Urahara would be good candidates, since there are hints that either had a bigger plan.
Does anybody remember that game for the DS? Bleach: the Third Phantom?

Yo, Saiga. As the Pope of this forum, what do you think about certain comments saying that this series ripped off Yu Yu Hakusho, down to certain arcs?
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Recently there was an interview between Kubo and Horikoshi, the manga of My hero academia (the link contains spoilers for those who are not up-to-date with My hero academia)
https://edomonogatari.wordpress.com/2019/10/05/kubo-horikoshi/
Some interesting tidbits for those too lazy to read or afraid of spoilers:
- Kubo really likes how Horikoshi can draw detailed backgrounds and is a bit jealous since he wouldn't be able to do that. Hirokoshi on the other hand thinks that he must draw detailed backgrounds, because his characters alone don't have enough presence. He is envious of Kubo's skill of being able to eschew background and make it work.
- Kubo often comes up with a line a character would/could say and if he likes it, he will direct the plot in a way that creates a scenes that allows the character to say that line in an organic way.
- Kubo is up-to-date with My hero academia
- When Kubo creates characters, he sometimes creates them alongside dialogue and sometimes he creates their names first and bases the rest around that, Rukia and the Bambietta are two examples of that. While drawing, Kubo heard on TV the name of a species of cosmos that sounded vaguely like Kuichiki Rukia, which means "rotted tree" and "light" respectively. Kubo thought it was a fitting name for a Shinigami and based her character design on that. Kubo created Bambietta because he wanted to have a character whose nickname could be "Bambina". That seems to imply that Bambietta is really younger than design suggests.
- Horikoshi's favorite character is Mayuri. He likes how he has this mysterious aura that questions even his humanity. He thinks it is scary how one no can be sure what he is plotting. Kubo wanted the audience to anticipate what crazy plan Mayuri comes up with next.
- Kubo never intended the Gotei 13 to be bad guys. But he also didn't want to make them morally black or white. He fleshed them out so that the audience wouldn't think they are villains.
- Kubo's favorite character is Kaminari. He is also fond of Mirio.
- Kubo is a fan of superheroes but not so much of the concepts of good and evil.
- Going by Horikoshi, the Big Three was also a japanese thing and many of the current stars wonder whether they will be able to live up to Bleach, Naruto and One Piece. Kubo says that for his generation it was whether they will be able to live up to Slam Dunk and Dragon Ball and that every generation has their stars they want to live up to.
- Horikoshi learned from Kubo the power of words.
- In general the two seemed a cool relationship.
It's nice to see how tight knit the manga industry can be.
Kubo being so impressed by the detail of the backgrounds is almost meme-worthy.
This does a great job of humanizing Kubo. I dont hate him, but he doesnt have the best reputation. Also I like that The Big 3 is indeed a thing in Japan even if just a little.

Kubo's always seemed like a cool bloke, honestly.
The Big Three are a Japanese thing since 1985 with Otokojuku, City Hunter and Tsuide ni Tonchinkan. The term was unfortunately coined a couple months before Saint Seiya and Jojo debuted and quickly became more popular in than the original Big Three.
Then the term was reused in the 90's for Dragon Ball, Slam Dunk and Yuu Yuu Hakusho. And only then for the Big 3 the West knows about.
An old meme from Naruto Forums.
But seriously, I never had a problem with Kubo. Too many people take the illogical leap from disliking a work to disliking the work's author. It's like how at least some of the faults in Naruto are the fault of Kishi's editors. In a huge creative process, it's hard to say who is to blame for certain things.
Add in how abominable the manga industry is and I would never go from "this thing sucks" to "the person who wrote/draw it is a shithead."
I always loved how into music Kubo was.
I dunno, Kishimoto saying that Sakura was a horrible person IF SHE EVER CONSIDERED quitting her unhealthy and harmful crush of Sasuke is pretty dickish. At one point he ranted about it and Junko Takeuchi was taken aback when he said "How dare that woman trick Naruto like that!"...forgetting that he's the one who writes the manga.
I still like Kishimoto and other than that he's cool.

Discord: Waido X 255#1372 If you cant contact me on TV Tropes do it here.Kubo is the only one of the Big Three mangaka who has never said anything iffy about women to my knowledge. Kishi had the above quote, and Oda revealed in a recent SBS that "Sexual harassment is funny," something OP has been repeatedly criticized for, is something he actually believes in real life.
Huh Takeuchi actually reacted to that?
Damn, causing a WTF reaction from the lead actress of your work.
Not just that but that sexual harassment is a nostalgic thing all men did when they were boys.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."I REALLY hope for my achey soul that it means he outgrew that.

I can't give Oda too much shit for finding fictional sexual harassment funny. Like any other thing it depends but there are definitely anime and manga that have SH that I find amusing.
One of the funniest things in all of Inuyasha was this scene.
It might be a relic of the past that's best left in the past but the dude is in his mid 40s. I am more offended by his women not being able to fight. That's something entirely peculiar to him and a huge flaw in an otherwise great series.

Would anyone happen to have links to these statements because hooo boy, are those takes terrible. I wouldn't put that "sexual harassment is funny" thing past Oda for a few reasons, but I'd like to see him say that exactly to be sure.
Don't catch you slippin' now."At one point he ranted about it and Junko Takeuchi was taken aback when he said "How dare that woman trick Naruto like that!""
What the hell? What "trick"? Do I even want to go down this road?
"I can't give Oda too much shit for finding fictional sexual harassment funny."
Don't worry, I can.

I don't think it was necessary - after all, Uryu uses a bow and he's not evil - but I don't think it would fit very well for him to start using a radically different weapon in the final arc. And I think the Hashbrowns backstory showed that there was never any intention for Ichigo to be a bow-using Quincy.
If he created a "bow" with Getsuga Tenshou the way Yhwach did with his sabre before killing Yamamoto, that'd be cool. But him straight up wielding a bow in place of Zangetsu, or Zangetsu turning into a bow? Just seems incredibly weird and misplaced.
