This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

I take it this is specifically about my edit on the More Friends, More Benefits page, yes? I looked at the other edits I made recently (that I can remember, at least), and that's the only one it could be, because the rest of my recent edits are intact.
Incidentally, I notice that what I called attention to on the More Friends, More Benefits page has been deleted too (the thing someone else had written on that page that made no sense and was also posted in the wrong place on that page). So if I see something on a wiki page that doesn't belong, I should just delete it point-blank? I've always been reluctant to do that, which is why I posted something along lines of "does this really belong here?" instead of deleting it. Deleting it just seems so final, but I can do that if it's preferred. Even if it's hours and hours of work done by someone else.
(So it's a violation of the Conversation on a Main Page rule. Fair enough. Is it enough to warrant a permanent ban? I don't even know if it's a permanent ban or a mere cooldown ban at this point.)

Good day/evening/night, I was recently suspended and I wanted to ask if I could get back to editing.
I made some poorly-toguht edits, specically claiming South Park's character Heather Swamson was a Take That! towards "transtrenders" and removing a description that claims "Karen" is a slang for racist white woman in the Aggretsuko character page.
And because of this, I got accussed by an user of having an agenda, as seen here. I tried to reach the user to apologize and clarify that I don't have an agenda nor I am a bigot of any kind and simply made broad and dare I say ignorant assumptions while making those edits. Thankfully The user in question was chill about it and we could clear things up.
In short, I didn't make those edits with Ill intents, I made them misinformed.

If you see something that doesn't belong in an article, either remove it (leaving an appropriate comment) or post in one of our discussion areas about it: this can include the article-specific discussion page, Ask The Tropers, or the forums. Do not, ever, under any circumstances, add your thoughts or comments to the article itself.
I also suggest you study Text-Formatting Rules, because you seem to be having some difficulty with our markup.

TV Tropes doesn't want to be a party to political debates, but we also don't want to shy away from facts. If a work says something political, we can mention that, but we may not put words in the creators' mouths (like "transtrender"), nor present or render our opinions unless those opinions are prevalent in the world at large; even then, we acknowledge those opinions without taking sides.

I do know politics is a complex topic and because of that I often keep my distance with pages focused on it.
And yeah, I'm now well aware of the problem, I shoot myself in the foot slapping innacurate information on the page. But then again, I assummed there wouldn't be an issue considering the character in question is deliberately desgined to be despised as she embodies every negative trait that can be applied to a trans-woman, including the implications that she may not be actually trans.

OK, let's look at some of these examples. These were all taken from the draft for Pastoral Science Fiction.
- Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind — Nausicaa's titular home valley certainly fits the requirements, and even the alien-seeming but beautifully peaceful fungus forest fits the atmosphere perfectly (as long as you don't give the local fauna a reason to attack you).
- Figure 17 Tsubasa & Hikaru has this kind of feel to it, focusing more on the Slice of Life aspect of its characters and their world than on the sporadic monster fights.

~Redmess: I know this may sound a bit rich coming from me, but our problem is that you won't let go of things, taking offense and chewing them until they're past dead. While I would never bring it up myself, you raised the issue of your autism in driving this behavior. We sympathize, but we have to treat everyone participating in conversations by the same rules. It doesn't help that you send Hollers against other people when you're the one keeping the argument going.

As for the hollers, I'm sorry if some of them were inappropriate, but it is hard to get a feel for why when there is no feedback on them.

My edit on American Born Chinese was purely factual. There is no such thing as a "Judeo-Christian God." Gene Luen Yang is a Christian, and he believes Jesus Christ is God. There is nothing Jewish about that. Again, I apologize if I was misconstrued.

After looking at the page just now, I do like that it was changed to "Abrahamic God," which is absolutely correct.

It is a bad habit, and I have tried to tone it down. It's just that there are certain issues that are particularly sore points for me, making it difficult to avoid getting personal.
I have changed my way of dealing with one poster at least by simply choosing to ignore them entirely as opposed to getting into an argument that is too personal. Maybe I should try doing that more often.
