So yeah, I'm basically weaponizing the "beyond disgusting" rant from the movie.

The axolotl eats a bug.

Is it okay to still be the axolotl even though I have a different avatar?

I've put up with Strigon doing it thus far (not that him playing as his picture now isn't a welcome surprise), and I can't really stop you.

Cyrus frowns and hurls an incendiary grenade at the horde of poisonous creatures, the charge exploding upon impact with the stonework and roasting the creatures in white-hot thermite.

-The remainder of his climb is unimpeded, and he makes it to the top-

I ran out of ideas, and a sliding slab to the sternum felt too unfair. :| Has he got anything on him stronger than grenades?

OOC: His C-10 rifle, semtex and C4 charges for demolitions/traps and a combat knife for CQC.

Cyrus then proceeds to plant a pair of timed Semtex charges on the sealed entrance before ducking for cover from the explosion

The "entrance" was way back at the base, and it was maybe half a dozen (?) steps high. Assuming you mean the general area at the top, where the elevator brought him...

-A thousand cracks spread across the top of the ziggurat, forming a spiderweb. The stone table *

OOC:Oh... But I was getting confused. I'll just that he wanted a way in without being obvious.

The Specter captain then proceeded to break through the weakest looking part of the cracked pyramid with the butt of his rifle

-As he works, the base of the smoke column widens, and an opaque cloud of it encompasses him and the table. As the fire on it is the primary source of light, the surrounding area is significantly darkened-

-The two stone panels immediately below Cyrus open up to drop him several feet into the interior of the pyramid, closing again when he passes through. He lands in complete darkness, in a claustrophobically close space, the floor of which then opens and drops him into another. In this manner, he descends an incalculable distance, until he must be far past ground level. Finally, he is dropped into a more spacious chamber, which is nevertheless unlit-

Don't worry, I'm not going to single him out as the only character that gets to do anything. Tzekel Kan can't stay in hiding for the whole fight.

AAAHHH!!!

Cyrus picks himself up a few seconds after getting painfully reacquainted with terra firma. Noting that the chamber is pitch-black, the Specter captain activates the IR vision function of his goggles to allow him to see anything that's alive or giving off heat.

-He sees no heat sources, but hears a scraping of a stone panel sliding aside on the wall next to him. His thermal visor shows him Tzekel Kan's face-

-"What are you, green-eyed one? What are you, that you can kill a cartful of human analogies in the blink of an eye?"-

Meanwhile, topside...

-The smoke lifts away from the fire, and the larger cloud of smoke continues devouring the trees from the jungle-

-Suddenly, a smoky gray blur descends from the cloud, snatching at the axolotl to fling it into the sky-

Okay, it might possibly be that the coward isn't the entirety of the boss...

Jackie Chan enters ready for anything, and confused(or so it seems)...

OOC:Cyrus looks just like the other Specters. Except for the rifle he carries.

The Captain frowns, despite seeing the guy; He cannot feel his presence. Deciding to play along, Cyrus hopes to gain some information from the priest before killing him and looting the pyramid for valuables and artifacts.

I'm just a soldier without a general, I left the army that I once served out of disgust.

As he entertains the madman's questions, Cyrus slowly moves towards the source of the scraping noises.

He's looking at it. The scraping was a small panel moving aside so Tzek could talk to him.

-"Indeed? Then you are of no value to me," says the priest as he turns and walks away, the panel sliding shut again- *

-With a rumble, the far walls of Cyrus's rectangular room start closing in-

The chimney that dropped him here is still open, if he's athletic enough.

OOC: These crushing walls aren't very thick are they? Since they're supposed to move and such.

Cyrus whips around to see the walls closing in, cursing under his breath for not taking the opportunity to kill the bastard; he swiftly loads a magazine of armor piercing rounds into his C-10 rifle, sets it to full auto and blasts a section of the wall which the priest had been hiding behind.

OOC: A C-10 rifle's AP rounds can penetrate 50mm of regular steel.

The Assassin continued to merely observe.

And your point is? Besides, the top slab closed when he fell. That part's official. The rest of it under that is still open.

-The stone panel shatters, but it is impossible to tell if the priest was hit. In any case, the hole that was blown open is much too small to crawl through-

-The walls on either side of Cyrus continue towards him. There's maybe two seconds before they meet, Ghost or no Ghost-

Clenching his teeth and pulling a Semtex breaching charge, he stuffs it through the hole and blows it up via remote detonator; The Explosive being in too small a quantity to hurt Cyrus but strong enough to shatter the hole into a more manageable size, With that; the Specter Captain bowls through the path to survival.

OOC: His intention was to escape the trap, not shatter the panel, so the shots were displaced in a wider area.

-Iku notices the movement and fires an arc of danmaku at what swooped down-

Lightning-based, like all her danmaku, of course.

-Cyrus makes it into the narrow corridor just as the slabs collide. It turns left a few feet ahead, and there is a lit torch on the corner-

-The mass of gray shrieks, forgetting the lizard, and turns its head to Iku. It has the appearance of a cobra of (you guessed it) smoke, its lines indistinct. Its eyes are solid, and look to be made of turquoise◊-

-It glares at her, upside-down and hissing-

Cyrus slings his rifle across his back and pulls out the combat knife in preparation for CQC before following the path and snatching the torch to use for lighting. The Shrieking startles the hardened soldier but he chooses to ignore it since it was coming from above.

A smoke cobra? Don't see this going too well for me.

The Fearow dives towards the smoke creature and slashes at it with a talon.

Um... It's solid smo- solid under the smoke.

-The Pokémon's claws rend the skin of the massive creature, and it screams again before disappearing into the upper layer of smoke-

Starting to wish we had more than one word for smoke.

-The Ghost turns the corner to see a short corridor, a dead end, and a side passage *

EDIT: My iPod's gonna quit any minute, just so you know. I might disappear for a minute or two.
