OK, maybe it's just me, but I think Legends made it easier to get A ranks in Adventure Mode.
Song of the SirensCity in the Sky's music is its one bad point. Other than that it's one of my favorite dungeons in the series.
Does anyone else think Twilight Princess was a lot better in theory than it was in actual execution?
If only they didn't keep full exploration from you until you complete all the long dungeons full of those puzzles that no one likes, it would have been better. Also, they should've had more to find in the overworld beyond just Rupees and Heart Pieces. A good overworld wasted all things considered.
The game was still good though, but could've been a lot better.
Please help out our The History Of Video Games page.No-one likes puzzles?
That's news to me.
I want to know how the city in the sky happened. Did some people remain on Skyloft and the surrounding areas after the events of Skyward Sword?
I have a message from another time...Hint, most people like puzzles. That's why the games are so well liked. People don't like TP because Hyrule Field is too sparse, combat is too easy, and an artstyle that hasn't aged well.
One of the main problems with Twilight Princess is how barren the overworld feels. There are very few interesting things to see and do in Hyrule Field.
Also, no one likes puzzles? wat?

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."Puzzles are like the key part of Zelda. Without them what would this series be?
Oh really when? The Legend of Zelda without puzzles.
I prefer the combat over the puzzles, but I prefer the overworld over the combat. I like traveling up where it's wide and open, even if there's nothing to do.
In a lot of games with an open world, I'll just ride around seeing how fast I can go. I used to do that with Epona and with Wolf Link. That's why I'm interested in Zelda Wii U, even if there isn't actually that much to do.
The overworld wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to move through it yourself. At least with the Great Sea, you could go do something while going to your destination.
My main problem with Twilight Princess was its story.

This song needs more love.As a certain wise sage said, your preferences are not everyone else's preferences. Which is the issue with the Zelda fanbase as a whole.
I actually think TP Hyrule Field is fine since there are a number of things to do there, and you can cross it quickly. It just needed a couple more caves and non-ruppee goodies spread out.
Edit:Story? Not that TP has an amazing story, and it's premise isn't as good as MM or WW, but it's overall adequate enough with its own plot points and twists. Now characters I agree might be an issue since Midna has to carry the entire game herself on that front.

I love me some puzzles, but damn did Twilight Princess go overboard with some of them.
Don't make me mention the Master Sword Statue puzzle. Aonuma was flipping us all off with that one.
It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre.Didn't take me too long to complete it this time around, but just because I knew it was coming and I spent a good while figuring out a path instead of jumping and hoping for the best.
Still annoying, that puzzle (especially when compared to the spin the triangles! thing in Wind Waker)

"Yeah, it's a shame. Here we are in an underground cave with all these lasers, and instead of having a rave we're using it for evil."People have complained about the Ganondorf twist enough already, but since we're on the character front, I'm still not sure it was really necessary and I feel like it robbed Zant of the opportunity to be his own villain.
I think the reason Nintendo went with the whole Hijacked by Ganon thing was because at the time Twilight Princess was probably the most hyped game ever and by far the most hyped Zelda. I'm pretty sure Nintendo wanted to deliver on that hype and didn't want people going "I wish I were fighting Ganon and not this prick" and not like the game because of it.
But that's just me.
It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre.To be fair Zant gave us the Hijacked By Ganon trope.
Mileena MadnessThat's ironic since part of my problem was that Ganon WAS in it but I suppose from a broad perspective it was an understandable decision.
Also this.
@Sterok: Like others have said, the game has one of the worst cases of Hijacked by Ganon in the series. As a result, Zant was pretty much pointless. In addition to that, the entire second half was boring, Zant never does anything and is content to just sit on his throne, the "twist" with Midna being ruler of the Twili is so telegraphed that it's painful, it's impossible to care about Ilia and the kids from Ordon because they're so one-dimensional, and Zelda is completely useless until the final battle just to name a few of the problems.

This song needs more love.wow guys i haven't even finished playing yet and you're all spoiling things for me, both mood and story wise.
But more seriously, I'm still looking forward to actually being able to finish the game and know what the heck everyone is talking about. I've liked it thus far, even if the combat has been really easy.
"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI agree somewhat.
I did like one thing about Zant: his change in personality once you confront him. He's been calm and collected the whole game, but since you've destroyed pretty much everything he's built up, and he's next, he goes absolutely ape shit when he can't handle it.
Oh damn man, sorry. I thought everyone would have known by this point, since the game is almost 10 years old.
Holy shit, Twilight Princess is 10 years old. I'm 20 and I feel so old.

It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre.If nothing else, it made him a personal favorite in Hyrule Warriors.
I sure said that!i'd like to point out that i'm not being entirely serious. i already know all the major spoilers, i just don't know the story behind the spoilers.
and i would've had it beaten by now, but my wii disk for the game suddenly and inexplicably stopped working a few years back.

"There's not a girl alive who wouldn't be happy being called cute." ~Tamamo-no-MaeI agree about Zant. The manchild schtick was actually pretty interesting and was perfected in Hyrule Warriors. It's just a shame that G-dorf had already usurped the Big Bad mantle by that point.

This song needs more love. Also, Midna is the best Exposition Fairy in the series by a landslide. Enough said.
It's not Ogre, It's Never Ogre.Which is weird since Graham and Demise have a similar structure of a minion serving a greater evil.
Mileena Madness
I actually don't hate the City In The Sky music.
