Ooh, neat. :3
I'm five hours away from Vancouver, so it'd take ten to go there. :P
ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅI think I can make that, assuming I don't fail city driving yet again

“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. BernardUnfortunately, I'll be in jazz band at the time, and unable to attend.
Ecstasy is Sustained IntensityAw. Well have fun jazzing!
“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. BernardGreetings from Ellensburg, WA. Dead center of Washington and completely dead town. Except Fridays. XD How's it going PNW Tropers?
The NCR is like Tim Taylor. We need more POWER!!My bro lives there and I went to University there.
You going to Central or just happen to live there?
Justice is a joy to the godly, but it terrifies evildoers.Proverbs21:15 FimFiction account.I'm so sorry for being late and leaving early and generally being a nervous wreck! I don't know what's wrong with me. It was nice meeting you all and hanging out, if only briefly. And: Rottweiler you are surprisingly tall. And the book I was thinking of was The Kingdom of God Is Within You; guess I forgot it because it sounds too much like a self-help book.
[1] This facsimile operated in part by synAC.Well I was happy to meet you at all! It was fun while it lasted. Next time just tell your parents directly that you'll be out with a group until <whenever>and maybe you'll be able to hang out relaxed.
I look forward to next time. No one else has liked to discuss Tolstoy so far. And yes, I'm very tall.
“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. BernardIf any Tropers are in the Portland area from now to the 17th, I would propose a meet-up. I'm on leave from work (for the first time in a year) and have yet to meet a fellow troper, ever. I was in Iraq while I was most active, and I dunno. I'm bored, lol. Such are the dangers of vacation. Any ideas?
[Placeholder for something snarky]I'd be happy to show you around. Where do you want to meet? For a vacationer, Powell's City of Books (West Burnside & 10th) is kind of a must-see.
Friday afternoon would be the first good time to get people together.
“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. BernardWell, I'm no vacationer, I'm a 'couve native (grew up here for 18 years, and all that), just wondered if any tropers wanted to hang out, lol. Unfortunately, it seems like my schedule became busier than I expected, so I probably won't be able to spare any time :/ Sorry. Maybe we can plan ahead for another weekend, sound good?
[Placeholder for something snarky]When's the next weekend you're off?
“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. BernardMY WIFE IS FULL OF BABY AND SPARE TIME IS SUBJECT TO SUCH MATTERS.
That is all.

“Love is the eternal law whereby the universe was created and is ruled.” — St. BernardThat would be very disturbing on many levels.
Partially in a relationship with two dudes, where would the baby be coming from?
You know, thousand of years later it might still be Rhea...it took her roughly four consumed infants before she decided to do something about Cronus's baby eating habit...
She tricked him with a rock, however. Which, classically, didn't have a ton in common with babies. Makes a man wonder if Zeus could have been hidden if she simply wrote "Not your son!" on his forehead with a Sharpie.
Course Sharpies didn't exist back then...so it'd have to be some sort of magic scribing tool...

[Placeholder for something snarky]What is up, my fellow North West tropers, from Bellingam, WA.
Are there any other 'hamsters here?
I guess I'll introduce myself here. Seattle. U-district, specifically. Yes, I am a student at UW.
Bigotry will NEVER be welcome on TV Tropes.ok, what does everyone here think of the Occupy movement?

They're pretty well set up in a park in downtown Portland, but I'm still not sure what there goals are or what's going to happen that's going to make them believe they've "succeeded" and go home.
Apparently they're costing the city by causing Cops to work overtime, so here at least, they may not be actually helping the economy.

ᐅᖃᐅᓯᖅ ᐊᑕᐅᓯᖅ ᓈᒻᒪᔪᐃᑦᑐᖅI've heard that despite their lack of unified goals they have affected recent politics quite a bit and it's likely all this will result in higher taxes on the rich, or at least, reduced tax breaks.
"We are the 99%" draws attention to the fact that something like the last 1% has 20% of the countries wealth. So if taxes are put into place to divide it a bit more, I'm wondering if the protesters will consider things a success.

Yes. We're 5 hours south of Vancouver, BC if I'm not mistaken.
