TBH I'm okay with there not being a page yet to cut down on the entries that say stuff like "In the trailer... " or "In the beta..." we'd have to remove later.
I do wonder how hanzo-like Hawkeye will play...
So, a question to those who are keeping up with this game: from the already announced characters and those leaked ones mentioned before, which characters are (or could be) healers or an equivalent of such?
Some Dokibird character is streaming alpha gameplay, for those interested.
The apparent kit for Cloak and Dagger is also pretty interesting.

"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Dokibird's made a point about flying characters potentially being OP since low-skill players can't hit them. Wonder if there will ever be dedicated anti-air characters/abilities.
But I'm glad unrestricted flight is a thing. It just wouldn't feel right if Storm had to drop to the ground every few seconds to recharge or something.
There definitely has to be heavy anti-air characters cause I can't imagine how close-rangers like Black Panther and Magik will deal with flyers when their basic attacks are slashes.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Hmm... Venom's probably gonna be a Vanguard. I wonder what their alternate costume will be, though? Anti-Venom like in Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 and Marvel's Midnight Suns? Mac Gargan as Venom like in Marvel vs. Capcom 2? Lee Price as Venom like in Fortnite? Or something else? Maybe Knullified Venom to tie into Groot's story mode?
@Shadow-Whisperer That's a good question. This often a problem with making game based on existing franchise - outside of video game, healers arent that common. Usually characters chosen for this are wizards (ergo Loki) scientists (ergo Rocket Raccoon) and nice friendly characters who heal trough sheer powers of good vibes (ergo Mantis? I dont know her that well). Dagger will be a support as she's one of a few Marvel characters with some healers powers, as is Luna Snow which makes sense since she literally was made for the video game.
As for unrevealed characters, I'm 80% sure Adam Warlock will be a healer. No idea who else. Psylocke? Mr Fantastic? Jeff? Squirrel Girl? Iron Fist?
You think Flash Will get in as either Agent venom or anti venom.
Having both flash and Eddie would be nice.
"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."Probably not immediately. So far they avoid guys like Miles, Kate Bishop, War Machine, Beta Ray Bill, and other derivatives.
The closest thing to a derivative is Peni Parker, a character who in theory is an alternative Spider-Man, but in practice has almost nothing in common other than a general spider-theme.
That's gonna suck for whoever wants Miles Morales, unless he's already in the game i hadn't noticed.
Uni catWho knows, he might end up being a skin.
Thank you for the answer Sunchet, as someone who tends to play support in these kind of games, I wanted to know if they are some early potential characters for me. Based on the infographic shared before (since I will also mentioned other things, I will begin spoilering from here), I could see Rocket giving medi-packs (similar to those in the third movie), Mantis having a "positive thoughts" buff which gives regeneration, and Loki just being magic explains himself (no idea about Luna Snow). Looking at the reported kits mentioned above, Dagger has healing, and the other one with text mentioning healing is Jeff the landshark (which if true, I can see being my main).
Yeah this is something i noticed with Heroes of the Storm. When the gimmick is a crossover or the game being based on a specific source material, certain character archetypes are harder to fill. Like HOTS really struggled to give us some cool healers and supports, cause most of the cool characters people wanted are closer to assassins or bruisers.
And yeah, the support equivalent of this game is gonna struggle a lot huh. I guess you can maybe have certain clone characters but in a different class?
Uni catMiles does have his invisibility and electric powers, to at least make him different from Peter.
Wake me up at your own risk.Yeah games are less ok with characters being redundant ability-wise. For example in Ultimate Aliiance, Spider-Gwen has a lot of focus on teleportations trough her reality-jumping watch.
I wonder how many upcoming characters will be melee. And will they all have some ranged attack (What will they give Thing or Wolverine?}
I feel like Wolverine would be the ultimate rushdown character, tanking as much bullets as his health will allow as he charges into the fray.
Jason has come back to kill for Mommy.I just hope he gets hard countered by Magneto. It's only fair.
Uni catThe character kits are for the most part true to the characters while still fitting unique and meaningful roles in a Hero Shooter but there are a couple omissions that make sense from a balance perspective but bum me out from a character perspective. One is Magneto not being able to fly and Dr. Strange only having a short-term float while Iron Man and Storm can fly freely is one. Magik not having a team-oriented utility portal like Dr. Strange is another (though she has a team-up portal with Black Panther for...some reason).
The Web Warriors are tough to add in general because they're all by design built around the same mold (and a very specific one at that) and so it becomes a question of how do you make them unique. Miles at least has the Venom Blasts and the camouflage that should be enough to differ him from Parker, though you'd really have to lean hard into those, almost like you're making a spidery Electro. Gwen meanwhile....unless you lean into Gwenom (which doesn't make sense to me vs. just doing Venom and Carnage) the only thing she really has to work with is her Ticket to the Multiverse, which could be enough but is also just more teleporting portal stuff.
Hmm, i wonder if you can make Venom and Carnage feel different
Size wise, they can fill different roles. Venom is the vanguard while Carnage is more assassin oriented
Uni catCarnage is more of a weapon construct guy so you can probably lean more into that for him.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Apparently Wolverine will be also able to use those portals and I keep wondering if there is some comic book explanation that I'm missing.
Magneto does have at least a slower fall...Namor's kit is mostly focused on "King of the Deep" thing, not really giving much to his flight and super strength. Which is disappointing though it makes sense to emphasize his unique traits. It also feels a little funny that Rocket has only his default gun as a weapon.
So how's the general response to the alpha shaping up?
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."
You know i'm surprised that Hawkeye is not base roster given how popular Hanzo is in Overwatch.
Also, how does this game still not have a page?
