Speaking of which, did no one on the Astral Express object to calling a perfectly human girl March 7th?

Hmm, so I’ll try to sum up each character’s basic role from those I’ve pulled so far.

• Elivae: Flexible DPS
• March: Shielder/freezer
• Dan Heng: Single target DPS
• Serval: Multi target DPS/damage over time
• Bronya: Damage booster
• Pela: Impair
• Herta: Flexible DPS/freezer
• Natasha: Healer

Haven’t tried Asta and Pompo yet.

PS: Shouldn’t we crop the pictures in the character page? The characters are absolutely tiny in them, you can barely make out their faces…

Maybe but I want to see how the story plays out. Unfortunately I'm struggling to get past Svarog's boss fight. My current team is the recommended level but somehow that's less effective than a different team at a lower level. I think I need to get more characters with elements he's weak to to the recommended level because so far of my 4 level 30 characters only Asta has an elemental advantage.

Also remember to level light cones and traces

How do you get that? I (I got seele first pull, but am also trying to get Hook)

You have to be Trailblazer level 10 or higher to get them.

that explains it...assuming its different from the respective character's level (and I am assuming such).

That aside, I just managed to beat Svarog. I don't know how many times I tried yesterday but I just beat him on my first try today. Swapped out March 7 for Dan Heng (With Trailblazer, Asta, and Herta filling out the rest of the team.) and he went down without killing off my team this time.

obvious theory time. It seems like March 7th hails form the first visitabl;e planet. Her being a Human Popscile in the backstory and her following Qlipoth's path seem like obvious hints.

EDIT: got to 10,a nd got Hook! She couldn't had come at a better time story-relance wise.

Also got Asta again and Natasha.

are we expected to fight Tyler Durdin? just wodnering

Seele get! My only other (non-Trailblazer) 5* is Bronya, so this is a bit amusing

I don't think so. Dan hails from the next world, and the story is very obvious about it. I don't think this is something they'd leave to a vague implication

Its also her playstyle, again, her affinity is Ice and her Path is of the same Aeon that is worshiped on said planet. If its a coincidence it is an very uncanny one.

Again, I've finished Jarilo's story, and nothing about March's past comes up during it. I suppose it's not impossible that we could come back to it for some big plot twist, but at the moment it looks like March's past will be relevant to a later world

...Also, paths aren't that closely tied to a given world. The only Preservation character I'm aware of from Jarilo is Gepard. Bronya is Harmony

I've looked over at Qingque's skillset, and man, it's WEIRD. You basically have to play a mini version of Mahjong to play her correctly. I don't know how strong she is, but I would bet that she classifies as Awesome, but Impractical.

Still a cool unique mechanic, though.

I just rolled her. She is low priority for me tho, as I want to level the protags, Serval, Natasha and Hook first (among others)

After all, I need elemental diversity and a medic.

That reminds me, is there an easy way to farm exp?

The next mission is the last. But the main-story missions are long, so that still means two dungeons, three bosses, and quite a bit of talking

I'd be genuinely surprised if she's not the worst character in the game. Even if you have her do nothing but attack, you'll still get less SP than you would with any other character

It's funny, in Genshin the starter archer girl is widely considered one of the worst, while the chinese girl you get for completing a combat challenge is over-tuned. Here it's the other way around

Quinque's actually a staple of my team. She was one of the first characters I pulled, if not the first, and I love having her on the team. I mostly spam her skill until I'm out of skill points and then attack. Love her ultimate too. She's just so cute. I couldn't not keep her around.

BTW, when exactly are we able to unlock the "Caverns of Corrosion", or smth? (I assume they're the place to farm end-game Relics?)

Her ice is special, she says its not actually super cold or anything to her at least and actually has trouble with the cold on the planet.

Joey and Garnt don't sound that different but Connor sounds pretty good (I.E. different). Which makes sense when you remember he's the only professional voice actor of the trio.

Before playing this game I was hearing people drawing comparison to it and the Trails Series and I didn't really understand why - and then I played the game and understood completely.
