New sneak peak of the Knuckles series: Knuckles gets ambushed by the Buyer:

Is the only complaint that critics had with the Knuckles show is that Knuckles isn't in it that much? Is that it?

I can understand the complaints, since it sounds like a case of Spotlight-Stealing Squad.

But has anyone actually seen it able to confirm it as a valid criticism or are we just assuming?

It's not officially out until Friday, so unless it leaked somewhere, none of us have seen it

Yeah, I'm going to wait until Friday to see what the general audience has to say about the show.

So apparently, there's some speculation about when the trailer for Sonic 3 will be released. What are your thoughts about this?

I bet the Knuckles show ends with one, or at the very least some kind of teaser/stinger.

I don't have high hopes for that, so I'll asume if it has a teaser, it's just going to be Shadow again.

Watching the Knuckles show on my day off… which is today.

One episode in. Gonna leave my full thoughts for when I'm done, but at least the first episode gives him plenty of screentime.

So I’m enjoying it alright, but it looks like people on Rotten Tomatoes are more critical. 57% audience score.

I do think there are always going to be people who want the humans (besides Robotnik, obviously) gone, and will hate seeing them in general. I think the movie franchise handles the humans well. To compare to Godzilla, lots of people are going to complain when movies focus too much on the humans, but Minus One showed that a Godzilla movie can have interesting and compelling human characters while still being a Godzilla movie.

To be fair, what was the ratio of Sonic to humans in the first movie?

Just finished episode 1. Not bad but was fast-forwarding a bit, could easily have just been 20 minutes. Love that this franchise has taken a certain 80s earworm away from a dated Family Guy I-player joke

Putting a pin in it because I got stuff to do for the next hour. While the reviews where right about focusing more on Wade than Knuckles, it's still a fun show so far.

Yeah, user reviews on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes are looking decent. I expect the problem will be with the die hard fans, but hopefully 3 will pacify them.

Eehhhh, they should have aimed higher, but seems they aren't confident enough in their non-human characters to take the lead.

That and, you know, CGI characters like the Funny Animals are expensive.

Well they should have thought of that first before advertising this as a Knuckles show. They know we are here for Knuckles, not Wade.

And no one would've watched it if they had. It's almost like nerds are notorious for not giving shows/movies a fair chance or something...

Wade is a very minor part of the movies. It is not "unfair" to be unexcited at him being a major focus of a miniseries.

I'll agree if I don't have to hear people whine about Wade at random intervals for the rest of my life
