The huntress's eyes quickly settled on the red eyed blond with his feet on his desk. If the eyes weren't enough, he sure smelled like a side of ribs. Definitely a demon. She gave Mikael an all teeth smile just long enough that he should catch her looking, then averted her eyes as if she'd been doing nothing.
"Good to meet you, Martin," Khulan gave Martin an enthused wave. "But I'll be helping too. You can't take it all the ...'help-work'."

Mikael

"Wow. I'm sorry." Mikael almost winced at the revelation. "I can empathize with the shitty dad thing - my dad is an Archdemon, y'know. But I can't imagine that it's pleasant to have a dad who's famous for being an asshole."

He naturally turned to face the loud guy - who was either a 12-year-old or else had lost the height lottery - and that let him notice the other new entrant. Scarface - Martin Snow, apparently - was notable in being the only person to match Mikael's height. Everyone else was at least a good half foot shorter than the two of them.

Martin looked strong. Mikael hoped that Martin was a bruiser-type, like himself. It would be nice to have someone he could throw down with, full force, without worrying about cracking them like an egg. Also, the scars gave Martin a certain rugged handsomeness, but dating could wait until after he'd gotten to know everyone better.

Tearing his gaze away , he looked back at Liam and smiled, showing off his sharp teeth. "Here's hoping we can be more than our fathers, hm?"

His eyes flicked over to Khulan. He'd caught her smile earlier, and was hoping she'd see his in return.

This is gonna be a fun class.

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

Martin Snow

Martin watched as Fern approached him, a smile on his face before giving a small shake of his head. "That would be pretty fitting, but its more like body enhancement?" he had never found an exact way to describe his powers without going on a long rant and figured that going into the smaller details would be a bit much for a first conversation. "I get stronger when I help people out," he technically also got faster, harder to hurt, could think faster, it was a wide variety of things, but it simplified it well enough to work.

Martin's gave a grin to Khulan as if being challenged but still maintained a sort of good nature about the entire thing. "Sounds like a competition worth having, who can do the most good and all." at the end of the day Martin was a simple kind of guy, but even someone like him could have a competitive streak.

Be better, because what is the harm in trying?

Liam

Well, that went pretty good.

When Mikael revealed his own parentage, and connected with him over the issue, Liam decided Mikael was probably a lot more than ego and bluster. He smiled a little and nodded, "Yeah, thanks man. I...definitely think so." Liam started to relax and stopped worrying quite so much about the issue being public knowledge. This was after all a hero school.

Coming here to improve on what he knew, to improve control over Regalia...it was certainly more than dear old dad would ever have been willing to do. I'm pretty sure dad hates reading let alone learning anything.

Looking at Martin, Liam smiled and said, "Nice to meet you, Martin. I'm Liam. As far as powers go..." He thought about it, and held up his hand, with a certain amount of concentration he was able to call it up. A bright golden glow formed around his hand, "This is Regalia. It's a force I can call on, and it acts against aggression."

“That’s very much interesting to hear” Fern says as her eyes shines white and walking into Mikael “Oh I-“ she looks at the height and feels like she just bumped into the wrong person but hey it’s just the cover I am seeing here Fern looked up at his eyes and said “Hello, I’m Fern, Yours?” Her raspy voice speaks as she pulls out her hand to shake on.

Lee.

...In all honesty, the mention of names and incidents went completely over his head. It was still a bit tricky adapting to how things were over here compared to being back home to worry about other folks reputations or recent events! And considering some folks were already bouncing back from looking worried about it...it saved Lee from trying to say something reassuring and naive.

Still, Martin's offer to the class made him give a small smile and nod.

"I'd most likely ask one of the staff here if necessary, but the offer is nonetheless appreciated, Mr Snow."

...And it only just clicked that after addressing someone else...Lee had forgotten to introduce himself and took a deep breath. He'd rehearsed this! Just to make sure he wouldn't stumble and give the wrong last name!

"Lee, Lee Sivril. And I guess it'd be easier showing off what my power is later than trying to explain it now. Class is probably going to begin soon after all!"

Hope you weren't expecting anything witty here. Maybe some day.

Sue

"Hey, where ya goin', hoodie girl?" Sue followed her, hopping along and grazing the floor with her knuckles. By now, everyone was crowding around the newest star, and she'd be lying if he didn't catch her interest. Him and the blond muscle boy both looked pretty neat, but she wasn't sure how they'd measure up against her...

...but before she knew it, she'd nearly bumped into Fern, skidding to a halt and barely managing not to topple her over. "****! Sorry, Ferny! Was kinda sorta lookin' at the blond muscle dude? Like, the other blond muscle dude. Lots of blond muscle dudes in this place, huh?"

"Heh, sure was." Theo said with a smile, sharing in Victor's laugh, " I Remember it like it was yesterday; all those electronics goin' haywire was good cover for me and the gang I used to be part of to smash up the Hot Topic that fired my girlfriend—well, Ex-girlfriend now, long story for another time." he briefly shuddered upon remembering her before continuing, "At least until the electronics surrounded us. Saw your face as they were hauling ya out and we were hauling ass outta there, and lemme tell ya, I don't forget a face."

He smiled as he ended his story, "Anyway, nice to meet ya face-to-face," He extended his hand for a handshake, "Theo Sampson, ex-delinquent, And you are?"

Mikael

Someone bumped into him, and Mikael looked down to see the bundled girl. On closer inspection, she had strange blank eyes. Not human, clearly. Mikael took her hand in his. His grip was firm, but light. Even so, she'd be able to tell how strong he was.

"Mikael. A pleasure." He replied.

On the mention of powers, he looked towards Liam's glowing hand. "Huh. Interesting."

Releasing his grip on Fern, Mikael held up his own hand, and suddenly his fingernails grew into black claws, seemingly made of metal. "In case it wasn't obvious, I'm a demon. I'm quite strong, though I'd have to see how I measure up to Mr. Good Deeds over here."

His tone was obviously teasing. Then the monkey girl nearly knocked Fern over, and Mikael smiled at her, amused. "There's only two 'blond muscle dudes' here, last I checked."

What is so amusing about this? Why do you take lives? How can you forget?

“...n-nice to meet you...” Lucy murmured vaguely towards no-one in particular, remaining as still as a statue as her ink subconsciously rippled against her will. She wished she'd learnt how to change its colour already. She wanted to just camouflage and disappear.

Is that guy just wearing—? she realised as her gaze landed on Mikael, and she forced her head forward again as she ducked her head in an attempt to hide her sudden flush. It was also to refuse looking at what she knew to be her phantom, but to an outsider's perspective it just seemed to be bashfulness.

He's hot.

I mean he's a demon, so probably...

She shook her head to clear it of thoughts. She didn't like where that particular train was headed. She continued to wait, pretending to not exist as she hoped that class would start before anyone realised she was deliberately ignoring them. Of course, if she was a decent person she wouldn't be deliberately ignoring them in the first place—

What the hell was even going on anymore? There she was, just looking for a desk downwind of everyone, when like 10 people burst into the classroom one after the other. Which... she supposed made sense. Three people was hardly a class.

But still, a hot monkey girl had burst through the window, the hot barefoot guy was a demon apparently, the other guy was Myron Eckhart's son or something, it was a lot

Abruptly, Rebecca realized that she had been so caught up in trying to memorize everybody else's name that she hadn't added her own to the mix. Oops. Great first impression, silently staring into space during introductions.

"I'm Rebecca." She spoke up abruptly, loud enough that people could hear her. "Rebecca Raleigh. I'm an Esper or whatever..." As for the rest... well, they could probably tell already.

Kana

It was Kana's first day at the academy, and for that matter she hadn't been in America for very long either. She had thus far lived a life that would lead anyone to believe that this is the last place she'd end up, but here she was at the insistence of her parents. It would seem her dreams of being a Yakuza princess were officially at an end. Time to make the best of things here.

She ended up running through the halls like a hurricane, the speed at which she did so causing a light breeze in her wake. After entering the classroom, she shut the door with a force you swore you could feel. She quickly dashed towards the others, parkouring her way over a desk in the process.

"Yo!" she said to the class in an informal, friendly tone. "My name's Kana Yoshina. I'm looking forward to kicking ass and taking names with you guys!"

Well, that's what superheroes do, right? It seemed like a normal thing to say at the time.

She was as tall as a beanstalk, had multiple tattoos, and a glowing purple that seemed to stare a hole through whatever it was looking at. This made her stand out in her old school, though a brief glance around the room told her that probably wouldn't be as much of a big deal here.

Sue

"You sure? Saw a bunch of blonde muscle dudes on that big screen thingy. They were dancing around and singing and doing a bunch of other fun stuff and some other things that made me not want to look at them anymore and think about things I didn't want to think about..."

She glanced back at Martin, her head turning between the two muscle dudes before settling on the one in front of her.

"...but hey, that's pretty cool, hot demon guy! Don't know if you're that strong though. Like, one time there was this really big dude who challenged me to arm wrestling cuz I ate all his bananas and he thought he could whoop my butt and take all my bananas cuz I was sorta scrawny next to him, but..."

Suddenly, a large red staff appeared in her hand, summoned with a small puff of smoke. She whacked it against the ground, smashing the surrounding tiles and breaking the ground below them in two, grinning like a maniac.

"...I went and kicked his ass anyways. Seemed like a good idea at the time!" She flexed her arm, patting her rippling biceps with pride. "Can't top that, can ya?"

“Not much of a talker I guess” Fern says before jumping to the sound of something breaking, she turns to see the same monkey girl now with a staff breaking some of the floor title, “I don’t think we should be doing that” Fern says to the monkey girl “that’s school property!”

"Victor Vaughn," Victor said, shaking Theo's offered hand. Ex-supervillain, his mind unhelpfully added. "Delinquent, huh?" Maybe he wouldn't be so out of place after all.

That girl's... an ESPer...? Lucy thought to herself, glancing over towards Rebecca as she stared at the other girl for a good few moments. So I'm... a-at least I'm not alone...

She probably won't like me.

Gathering up her courage, she got up out of her seat and shuffled over towards Rebecca, waiting for a moment when she seemed unoccupied before taking in a deep breath and smiling nervously at her in greeting as she approached.

“H... H-Hi...” she waved shyly, holding Rebecca's gaze for about five seconds before she looked down at her feet in a sheepish fashion. “S-Sorry, um... y-you're an ESPer, right...? I-I am too, um... I— m-my name is... my name's Lucy...”

Congratulations, that was the world's slowest introduction.

Clio Vargas - Entrance

A girl wearing a tan sweater and a pair of messy buns runs into the classroom, panting and placing her hands on her knees. She then takes a few steps forward and slips on something. She falls to the ground and three books come out from her satchel. They are biographies about Leonidas I, Jeanne d'Arc, and Oda Nobunaga.

The girl mutters something in Swedish as she picks up her books. She looks up to see her classmates and waves nervously at them.

"Oh, hello, I'm Clio Vargas. I came from Sweden and I'm from a long line of mages. Did I made it in time by the way?" She attempts to give a smile but she comes off as a somewhat nervous wrack. She's quite a shy girl.

"Great," Khulan looked up and down the second girl to whirlwind through the door and second(!) one to sport purple. (Yes, Khulan doing it first was important!)
"Kana, I was just getting used to being the tallest woman in here." She pointed to herself then. "And the most purple. And that one kicking ass and taking names. Though I guess there's enough ass to go around." Khulan knew exactly how that sounded. She did not regret a thing.
"Hi!" She saved the greeting for last, because that's when she remembered it.

The ice cold boy just gave a look to the group, and tried to at least form an opinion. If nothing else, it's a rather loud bunch, that's for sure. At the very least, the year wouldn't be boring, he guessed.

A monkey girl, a really tall Japanese girl, a demon, at least two who seem like they'll be calling anyone's attention,... Yep, an interesting place.

A new girl arrived, with books and a lot of nerves. Well, he was quiet long enough, so might as well say something.

"Cutting it close, but you made it" He said, trying to be at least a bit calming "Nice to meet you, Clio, I am Samuel Everett, cryokinetic. Everyone just calls me Sam"

Clio swipes her forehead in relief and extends her hand towards Samuel.

Fern walks away and hopes for Sue to not go and destroy the whole class before remembering “Idiot me!” Fern says slapping herself onto the head “I should introducing myself two my classmates can be familiar with me” Fern makes her way to the front of the glass and clears her throat

“Umm hello…” She fixes her broken sunglasses up to her face and checks her bandanna is on right

“Sorry about this, but I must make this quick, hello fellow classmates I’m Fern, Fern Lamb, and I am going to go back to my seat now” She says walking to the end of the class room and takes the very left deck.

“Hi Khulan!” She greeted her fellow purple enjoying hero. “Hm… well, I don’t think height is that important. I’m taller than most people in the world, and I don’t think it actually means much - except that people don’t generally try to mess with me, which is nice. And that I bump my head on door frames sometimes, which isn’t. But I digress. It’s nice to meet you!”

"Y-Yes, I suppose..." Clio hasn't figured out what Sam is trying to imply and rushes over to her seat, which is the nearest to the door.

Rebecca Raleigh

Rebecca was honestly slightly startled when Lucy walked up to her and introduced herself. She had kind of expected that her classmates would avoid her like the plague. That was how it had been at her old school, after all.

Maybe she was just being polite, but she seemed genuine, if shy, and Rebecca hadn't been brought up to assume the worst of others. Best to just be friendly and hope for the best.

"You too? My mom says we're really rare. She's who I got it from, by the way. But I've never met an Esper outside of my family."

She wondered vaguely what the other girl's medium was. It had to be better than the bottom of the barrel she got. Why couldn't she have something like Renee's fire, or even her mother's fabric? No. She'd promised to stop comparing herself to them. She grabbed onto the pine tree air freshener dangling from a cord around her neck. Renee had given it to her as a joke gift before she left, but the encouraging message carved into the back had been serious.

"I hope we can be friends, Lucy." She gave the smaller girl a bright smile.
