I feel like Jack could probably become a professional Swordsmanship instructor if it came down to it since he is genuinely good at using swords, he doesn't just stand around admiring them.
I actually think it's likely he'll do just that and end up helping train Kate Bishop.

Which is weird as his least effective turn was in avengers but even brainwashed he acted as a suprisoanly competent Dragon for loki during his schemes.

He gets bashed because people want to keep the meme going.
They think it's funny, so they keep telling the joke which results in everyone and their mom wanting to join in on it, until it's not about whether the joke is funny so much as it is keeping the joke alive no matter how little sense it makes.
Plus, what's with this why is everyone making fun of Hawkeye? stuff now. Practically everyone else here was joining in on dunking on him but me.

I mean, to be honest... it is kind of silly. At least Batman has a ridiculous fortune and ancient secret not-quite-magic ninja training to help explain how he keeps up with bonafide superhumans, and he still often gets mocked for being just a guy. Hawkeye is just a guy who's really good with a bow. He didn't even have much in the way of trick arrows until this show. I'm willing to accept it because he's still a fun character, in large part because of the fact he's literally just an ordinary human, but from a realistic standpoint he's definitely the most redundant Avenger.
I missed the part where that's my problem.

I'm surprised it took the Honest Trailer for me to notice that Kate's high school diploma is from the Spence School
, especially since it's a background prop.
I mean, the answer is that movie Hawkeye is America's greatest assassin and a black ops operative. He's the universe's equivalent of James Bond.
Hawkeye being a loser like in Fraction doesn't work in the MCU because he's one of the most respected dangerous men on the planet. Also, an incredibly skilled killer that was SHIELD's other top agent.
