Banned user, good edits

It's been awhile since I regularly curated the wiki. If a ban evader adds content that is accurate, insightful, helpful, attractive or that represents a widely held opinion, even one that isn't supported by facts, I still am allowed to put it back on the wiki if it was only removed by principle of ban evasion correct?

I'm reminded of some metaphor a user on the repair shop used about babies and bath water, but it does not seem to have prevailed.
