Would these options work for Seasonal Rot?
- Six months after the show ends
- Six months after the season ends
- Six months after the show ends or five years after the season has ended, whichever comes first
- Two weeks after the season ends
- Five years after the season ends
- Six months after the show ends or one year after the season has ended, whichever comes first
- Six months after the show ends or two years after the season has ended, whichever comes first
- One year after the season ends
- Two years after the season ends
The last four I came up with just now, while the rest were based on options we already had (usually replacing "after the series ends" with "after the season ends").
Edit: Added a couple more.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Make sure to replace "series" with "show." Then we can get rid of that confusion with the commonwealth English issue.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.I'll replace "series" with "show", then.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Crowner hooked, with "series" replaced with "show" as requested.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Just personally think one month (maybe two) is sufficient time to see the reception of the latest season. Having to wait half a year feels a little too much but that's just me.
I favour the longer wait options, having had experience with shows that have an initial reaction from a fanbase that experiences scheduled releases of episodes, and newer fans who come into a work later on and can therefore watch shows in bulk. This can create a different experience, leading to a divide in fandoms over a longer period of time about whether Seasonal Rot is truly in effect.
However, given the option that is overwhelmingly in the lead right now, I don't have a problem with that one. Can we vote two options up at the same time? I'm never quite sure what the etiquette is on voting (at the moment, I've only voted up my preferred option).

If my post doesn't mention a giant flying sperm whale with oversized teeth and lionfish fins for flippers, it just isn't worth reading. It won't stop you from voting more than one option up if you want to. That said, I'm pretty sure it couldn't be against the rules, even if the TRS admins wanted it to be, because crowner options aren't always (in fact, they usually aren't) mutually exclusive.
You could upvote every option if it struck your fancy... I'm not sure why you'd do that, but the point is, you do you.
Currently Working On: Incorruptible Pure PurenessCalling in favor of six months after the show ends or one year after the season has ended, whichever comes first.
Is there anything left?

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Unless there are still tweaks to be made to the page descriptions of Seasonal Rot, Dork Age, and/or Sequelitis, not that I know of.

I'll see if anyone chimes in.
Edit: I saw that an Installment Quality Drop supertrope had consensus behind it {on this page), so I added it to the Trope Idea Salvage Yard.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. That name was first suggested here

My mistake. I was going by when the crowner options were compiled and didn't think to go back further.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.Clock is set in case anyone chimes in regarding unfinished business before the thread is closed.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass. There were discussions about renaming Dork Age, since the current trope name doesn't really indicate anything about a viewership/audience decline - the term "dork" itself is more associated with awkwardness, like an awkward period.
Some names were suggested (like Audience Decline Phase / Viewership Decline Era), but nothing came of it
Edited by magnumtropus on Dec 27th 2021 at 9:32:15 PM
If a rename does end up happening, perhaps "Audience Alienating Era" would work.
Eh, for me the name is already indicative of an era that is generally consider by audiences as having been subpar.
I do worry though, the name Dork Age brings out their complainy side compared to something more formal...
Some people say I'm lazy. It's hard to disagree.I myself am a bit worried that the name suggests it's talking about the quality of the work rather than it's popularity.
Since Dork Age had a wick check in this thread's wick check sandbox, I hooked a crowner for whether to rename it and shut off the clock.
Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.I vote to have Dork Age renamed.
I'll be over on DeviantArt if you need me.I voted for a rename too, 'cause, as I said, the name "Dork Age" suggests a dip in quality rather than a dip in popularity.
Bump. It has been 4 days, and the crowner seems to have stabilized at 2.50:1
Calling in favor of renaming Dork Age.
Do we have any name suggestions other than what has already come up in this thread?
Audience Decline Phase and Viewership Decline Era were previously suggested.

Crown Description:
Consensus was to rename Dork Age. What should its new name be?
I'm fine with rerunning the "after the series ends" options too. I may not like the idea but clearly some other people see value in it.
I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.
