Poor Image: Nightmare Fuel.Higurashi When They Cry

While I feel the image is disturbing, I feel it's more disgusting than scary and doesn't reflect the work's brand of horror at all. Higurashi is well known for its great suspense, likable characters going Axe-Crazy, and often gory deaths over a Jump Scare or the Gross Up Closeup (both are rather seldom used here). I think a Nightmare Fuel page image should be show why the work is scary and deserves a page without overdoing it (as in being borderline Not Safe For Work) or relying on Nausea Fuel.

I'm not sure about what to replace it with but I have a few ideas. How about Keichi beating Mion and Rena to death or one of the more infamous freakouts (maybe one of Shion's Yandere moments).

What do you guys think? This is my first time doing one of these.

Previous thread. I disagree, having maggoty wounds in your neck^Spoiler or at least thinking you do is very much NF material, at least to me.

Strong keep. Nightmare Fuel and Nausea Fuel can overlap, and an image being both doesn’t exclude it from one category.

Bump. If nobody has any other ideas, should we just close this?
