I will said many often said globalist without meaning jews just "bad people who rule the work" often US and pals.

Activision Blizzard introduces a tool to rate Character Diversity metrics.

So, Activison is trying to go all Performative Activism to try and distract from their constant lawsuits, and its bascially a tool to categorize Minorities. Because obviously Minorities would be find with being placed in boxes of characteristics.

It went about as well as you'd expect.

Acti-Bliz is starting to become a showcase of how badly a company is willing to kill off all good will and trust anyone had on them before they start doing things that actually solve their problems.

I passed by actual Blizzard HQ a week ago and shouted, “99 PERCENT LEFT FOR A REASON” as I walked by.

Well there goes the prospects of a job there.

To be fair, you apparently wouldn't want one. Think of it more as pre-emptive and proactive resignation.

I'm reminded of the interview with the girl gamer who attended blizcon and asked if female armor would be less Victoria's secret and more practical and was then mocked by one of the panelists.

She said in the interview that she was glad she didn't sign up for a job at Blizzard and felt she dodged a bullet after the recent scandals.

5X That is also missing the points of diversification. It isn't about marking some checkboxes. I don't expect them to turn it into something so boring and soulless. And this isn't even a leak. They show it to the people themselves for promotion and somehow thought people would be proud of them and praise them for it. How out-of-touch must you be to do that?

Corporate diversity is one of the most insulting and racist programs that capitalism can conjure up, and should in no way be affiliated with actual programs to help workers get jobs to support themselves and put food on the table.

So of course the usual suspects are ranting about how Activision's corruption and out of touch mentality is an example of so called white genocide and how diversity is ruining the games industry.

Yeah, this is just giving more fuel and ammo for the anti-"SJW" crowds and outrage merchants. Whoever is in charge of marketing, PR, or this debacle should be fired. Clearly, they know jack squat about all of those things.

I've looked at this chart at least ten times and I'm still confused on what I'm looking at.

Saudi Arabia has bought stocks in Nintendo and Capcom, 5% in the former and 30% in the latter.

As in the entire country?

Saudi Arabia investing in the game industry isn't anything new. Reminder that SNK is owned by the crown prince.

Saudi Arabia has a glut of oil money. If it stays in the country it's not really useful to them, so they have to spend it to buy stuff from other countries. This is a direct consequence of all that sweet, sweet crude that we buy to turn into gasoline and jet fuel.

They've also acquired over $3 billion worth of stock in Activision Blizzard, Electronic Arts and Take-Two since 2020.

Communism isn't any better either; this is a problem of corruption and lack of law enforcement. To reduce it to simply that capitalism is bad is an absurdist theory. I don't think this problem would have been better in a communist or socialist society.

And this is relevant how?

As far as I know, there have never been any socialist or communist systems that have ever created a tool like this, but they pop up in private corporations ever so often, so yeah, it's a completely irrelevant point.

For reasons I can't fathom, some people take it upon themselves to say "ok but communism bad too" every time anyone criticizes capitalist practices in any way.

It's more about assigning problems to be the unique and specific fault of capitalism.

When those problems are specifically those of unrestrained corporate culture? Uh... yeah.
