The description includes posh-sounding European names.
It's "Ludenberg" with an "e", not "Ludenburg" ("burg" = castle; "berg" = hill). Still, I don't get the "dark" vibe from it that the trope is supposed to be about.

I still think the My Immortal suggestion is best, as it’s overtly gothic to an exaggerated level with no distracting contrast.

My concern with that image still stands: it's fan art and from what I can tell, we never got permission to use it. If anything it should be pulled from the fanfic page.

Went searching and found that 12 is the cropped version of the image on My Immortal.

Yes, we know that. And it was used on the My Immortal page without permission.
But we can use half an image without permission, right?

I think the rule is for half a webcomic or similar work (to qualify as fair use).
We've done "half an image without permission" before, like on Solitary Sorceress.
If you scroll down to the comments section of the Deviantart page
, the artist says that TV Tropes has their permission to use the image.
Nice. Now we gotta decide if we want to duplicate it on "Darkness von Gothick" Name.
Can't we find a different one for My Immortal, then? Since it's a fan work, there won't be any official art... but this one is more fitting for Darkness Von Gothick Name than the other suggestions.

That’s an image macro, which I believe isn’t allowed.
Subtitled scenes don't really count as "macros" since that text is in the work. We occasionally use them, like on My Sister Is Off-Limits. I actually rather like that Lisa suggestion.
