A shame it ended with Pochi just leaving, but I can at least appreciate that she and idol parted on amicable terms. Hopefully, Pochi can rest easy and come back strong when ready :)

Speaking of the black company, yet another day passes where they simply can't resist to collect a fat L.

That creep Hex Haywire did an oopsie during his collab with Vantacrow, wherein the two talk about how to deal with people whom you thought burned bridges with you for so long, before Hex claims that it's OK to ignore them, justifying that freindships aren't meant to last. Hex then goes on to recount about how he tried using the ashes of a friend's grandfather to plant a seed after he broke the vase containing the ashes. Then he doubled down by recounting another time wherein he flushed his friend's goldfish down the toilet because it annoyed him.

You know, since he lives in the Philippines, he just admitted to a federal crime that can make him face up to 12 years of jail time if found guilty. An insensitive ass like him should know better than to jok—oh, wait, he's XSOLEIL's designated "therapist".

Disgusting. This is straight up sociopathic behaviour, but now I wouldn't put it past Kurosanji to keep that character profile in their ranks.

One other reason I haven’t started Vtubing is that I don’t think I can handle any of the jokes at my expense.

Being someone who regularly watches his streams, I have a feeling that he's joking, his delivery in general has always been rather deadpan.

I wonder about that too. Even if they're like dirt cheap, it's someone else's pet. If they're annoyed by just existing, that's just sociopathic. And I'm leaving it at that because we're not in the business of doing armchair psychoanalysis here nor are we qualified for it.

Yeah, I'm fully expecting NijiEN to get absorbed into the main branch within the next three months. Investors will be unhappy, but not as unhappy as they'd be actually looking at the numbers

Problem with Nijisanji EN being absorbed to the main branch is that EN is basically their representative of international expansion left. If it goes I dont think investors will be happy either if not more so.

Could imagine a “relaunch” of the EN brand to cleanse the image. Like absorb the current talents to the main branch, give an out for those who dont wanna. Then months later, make a “new” gen 1. Management structure may or may not be actually fixed.

Unless they fix the systemic problems, that's not gonna work, though, especially now that everyone's aware of them.

Sure, there'll still be people desperate enough for the signal boost signing on with a VTubing company brings, but "Do you want to put yourself through a meatgrinder for exposure" is still gonna be a tough sell.

With all due respect, this is quite potentially the worst take possible on how 9634 could go about fixing the EN branch. "Hey, I know the foundation of this building is completely rotten, but we can just put a new house on top of it without having to fix the foundation and it'll be fine!"

Like taking out just the rotten apples only to find out that they spoiled the entire barrel. And possibly the whole tree.

Its only an idea and I never said it could work, as that will not make people forget what Anycolor is. But everyone’s saying absorption is the most likely course and I cant imagine the investors (the likely root cause of any publicly traded company’s decisions) being happy to give up on an international audience. A person can say that people will just jump into the main branch to find their english speakers but distinction is why EN and JP branches in any company are separated. This is the only idea I have that Anycolor will use to “cleanse” their international image and I have to lower my intelligence levels to think like this company. Will probably never work but its certainly an idea prediction.

And I meant “fixed” as in if the management remains or not. Very bad if the former.
