In a world that's more fantasy/superhero driven, how could GeorgeJetsonJobSecurity apply?

I've often seen it in Work Coms and, of course, The Jetsons, but I'm talking more along the lines of superhero-based things like Superman, Spider-Man etc. with reference to the superheroes themselves. Or even anime like Dragon Ball etc.

I wanted to add a paragraph or two but wasn't sure how this'd apply to those genres.

I don't know why it would be any different or notable in these settings; all you need is shaky job security. Bob continuously getting fired and rehired from his insurance job = Elfina The Elf Adventurer continuously getting kicked out and reinvited into her adventurer's guild.

To give an example, in My Hero Academia, where heroism is a full-time job and many heroes are self-employed or are an employee/sidekick in someone else's hero agency, an example of George Jetson Job Security would be a sidekick continuously getting fired from his agency.

[up] Fair enough. I forgot to mention in my OP, more about it happening to the main characters, e.g. Superman, Batman etc. rather than side characters.

But you've explained it well! grin

Why would it be any different happening to the mains or sides? George Jetson is a main character.
