Cached histories retrieval project (2020 server crash)

This server crash was unfortunate, wasn't it? A lot of edits were lost. However, I know that at least some pages have histories that can be viewed while logged out. I know this works in Firefox, not sure about other browsers.

What I want to do is to save these page histories so we can restore the edits once editing is re-enabled. Use of archive.vn to save pages seems to work, so we can use that. We only have until the cache updates, and I don't know when that will be, so time is of the essence.

Now, let's get to work!

One page I noticed was Animaniacs, though it was only an image change.

[up] Just archived it. That's another page down, so let's continue the search.

I have my edits on YMMV.Super Smash Bros Ultimate and Trivia.Super Smash Bros Ultimate saved on a Word doc. I was only able to archive the former, though — by the time I got to the latter the cache for it had updated to that small patch of time where the site was up but the pages were empty.

I can't seem to use archive.vn...

[up][up] I don't think it's a cache update. This isn't the case for all pages.

[up] You can take screenshots if necessary. Why can't you use it, btw?

[up] Well, unfortunately, that one doesn't seem to have been cached.

[up] Thanks. Have you tried archiving these yourself? I'm one guy, I can only do so much.

So I can only restore a page from archive.vn if it has been saved before in that site before the crash?

Guess I have to use Google Cache then...

[up] Worth a shot. Let us know how it goes.

Added and edited a bunch of stuff, including an image, to TerraGenesis, which is now gone. (Also the cache is yesterday's version. sad)

I don't know if this is relevant, but I tried using the Wayback Machine to archive some pages today and it wouldn't work. It would say it successfully saved and show me a snapshot, but it would be of the most recently archived capture of that page, not the one I tried to back-up.

I'm not sure if this is because the site's servers are still recovering, but this might make archiving the site more of a headache if it's not resolved.

[up] That was a problem before this happened. I think the pages still get archived, it just takes a little while for the Internet Archive to fully process things.

Oh, okay. Now I'm seeing them being archived. It just takes about a half-hour. False alarm.

Did WebVideo.Lego Raiders, YMMV.Lego Raiders, and Trivia.Lego Raiders get cached? I'm willing to help Noah1 (the pages' original creator) rewrite the pages from scratch if they can't be found, despite me first literally having ever heard of the web show because Noah brought it up.

EDIT: Found the cache myself and uploaded screenshots of it onto Imgur. Phew.

[up] I managed to find the cache on my own end, take screenshots of the contents, and upload the screenshots onto Imgur. Wayback Machine and archive.vn failed to give me the page right away.

Based on your failure, the cache might be user-specific?

[up] That could be. The edit cache for WMG.The Loud House didn't archive, so I took a couple screenshots.

Tried the Google Cache and it seems that any edits done on Monday to Tuesday weren't saved.

Anyway, I'm going to bed. I'm sure you guys can keep this up without me.

The admins might be purging the cache right now, as Fanfic.Grimmfall has its first few lines visible in a Google Search but the page is inaccessible even when logged out.

Anyone else can get in that page? (Screenshot the entire contents if you do.)

EDIT: It's just repair lag. A July 2 revision has been salvaged.
