Cool, uh huh huh
another one?
She/they. Hirrus Clutumnus is my comfort characterAgain, yes
New theme music also a boxI actually suggested that for a revival that maybe Beavis and Butthead could take a level in intelligence and possibly use the internet to find Rule 34 of some anime they watched and possibly browse 4chan. Maybe even reference the cartoon community by having Beavis and Butthead watch and comment on Nickelodeon shows like Spongebob, Doug, Ren and Stimpy, or TMNT 2012.
Check out Rogues Gallery Transplant: The GameApparently what Mike Judge wanted to do for the 2011 revival was have them get frozen in 1997 somehow and wake up in 2011. I think they should just retcon out the revival season (the show had no continuity to speak of anyway) and have them wake up in 2020 to see how the world has changed since 1997.
That's what I wanted when the first reboot ended, but it's been a decade since then and I don't know if the quality will still be good.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.I just don't understand how that would work. I was not a big fan of B&B in the first place, but I just can't imagine them become tiktokers or streamers, or making comments on K-Pop and rap videos instead of rock and metal (since those are almost irrelevant in the mainstream now). Not to mention that "reaction videos", that are basically what B&B were doing, are now massively overplayed and unfunny more often than not.
Some series are too dependent on the period in which they were made, and I'm afraid B&B are too, unless they want to become like The Simpsons and turn into the opposite of what they once were.
"Effective Altruism" is just another bunch of horsesh*t.I'm also wondering how the sexual humor will come across to modern audiences. True, B&B were portrayed as sexist jerks in the original, but they were still the protagonists. Do you think jokes like "we're gonna score" or "that chicks got big thingies" (and those were some of the more milder comments) would still be acceptable nowadays?
The two were featured in the Paramount+ all star crossover Superbowl commercial, they interacted with Michael Burnham in what may be the best Discovery scene ever.
Here’s the video.
Bump -
As part of the Paramount Plus relaunch, Beavis and Butthead are getting a new movie bound for the service. Considering their last movie is widely considered a Cult Classic, expectations are probably going to be high.

I read an article that says that they're going to be dads. It could work, but them having wives (or even being succesful in love in the first place) kind of goes against one of the main premises of the show.
Yeah, that's why they're going to be deadbeat dads in all likelyhood
New theme music also a boxThat's just it - even being deadbeat dads would require them to have lost their virginity (in other words, scored) at some point, snuffing out one of the show's most famous running gags.
hey, maybe it can give them character development, you never know..
New theme music also a boxBeavis and Butt-Head getting character development? BLASPHEMY!
Completely changing their characters. This isnt like Mordecai and Rigby who obviously wanted more in life, B&B are complete morons who are incapable of doing anything right.
And even when B&B do something right, it's by complete accident. Case in point, that one time they found a crashed plane or that one time when the world was going to go sideways because of a bio-weapon.

Necro-bump.
Mike Judge teases the Beavis and Butt-Head comeback. I think.
How do you guys like your middle-aged 90's icons?
I really don't trust Mike Judge to be tuned in with modern pop culture, it's going to be an old man yelling at young people.
Never trust anyone who uses "degenerate" as an insult.Butthead looks like if Bill went through some hard times.
I've never seen any Mike Judge projects as "old man yelling at young people". Even the Goode Family started getting away from the whole "ultra-liberal family lol" stuff and started developing them as people by the later eps, but we never got a chance to see how it would have developed further.

Also, I wonder if there's going to be any mention or appearance of Daria. I'd be satisified if we hear a passing mention of "President Morgendorffer" while they flip through channels.
